Down the street from me, so very convenient. The Place is always nice and clean. The lady that works in there now, with the cute little girl, is cooler than fan, I mean cooler than the water in my swimming pool, I know ya'll can dig it. If she's doing your laundry, shoe her some LUV, like tip'n her a couple of $$$$ won't hurt you. Because I don't know about ya'll, but my clothes be SMELLIN good, and she folds them real proper like, that means real nice, I know ya'll can it.

This is an ok laundry, but not as great as the reviews here would suggest. They keep the outsides of the machines fairly clean, but the insides of the doors are pretty gross with lint, dust and chemicals. You can always draw a line in the grunge with your finger. The attendant is pretty lazy when the boss isn't around and left to go upstairs to her apartment at least half of the time I was there on a busy Saturday. The folding tables were filthy and there is nothing but a spray bottle of water (she said there was soap in it, but there obviously wasn't) and some paper towels to clean them with.Long story short: It's not bad for Tacoma, but the bar is pretty low around here. Just don't expect too much and you'll be fine.

Usually I have. No issue actually the worker that has the lil girl is amazing she went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience but after Monday I think it was that day I could be off a day or two I wont ever come again. The new worker is by far one of the most rudest people I have ever met. When I asked her how much my clothes would be for there wash and fold service when she turned to walk away she muttered under her breathe but loud enough for me and 2 other customers to hear... "why bother wasting our time it's not like you can afford it" I was so appalled I took my clothes from my WASHERI machine and I left. Sucks I come here 1x week every week for the last 6 months.. I also told my 3 friends that go there what she said how she was treating me and they're not coming back either...so if you go in and it's not the lady with the ridiculously cute lil girl ii would turn around right then

Gabby is ? Awesome. She keeps it so clean and friendly. Needed to get my bedding done and K st Apartment is too expensive and doesn't get your clothes clean. Took a Tub and filled it full over flooding the tub and my walker. Took my service dog, Angel and headed down there. By the time I got there I was pouring sweat we left the laundry there for her to do and we went and got her a calzone a tank send Me an Angel with French tip when I came back I was barely breathing and she told me to go home and she'd call me when it was done we didn't get back to the day she has not only were stone-cold around they were clean Seattle off in the tub I could even do that we came and picked it up I left her another five-dollar tip and brought his great big goulash for her and her daughter she called me and safety and said she had a rough night and getting the gulash reminded her of her mother and I made her day Gabby you made made my day I really appreciate you and all you did thank you go to North Slope laundromat it's the best so Gabby

This is one of the nicer laundromats in Tacoma, even having cool blues music playing in the background...and a good variety of washing machines (at least 4 different sizes [may be more!], and extra large and large dryers. Can be coin operated, or operated with a plug-in via your phone.

Iv never walked into a laundromat and felt like I was around friends until this place. The woman working there had her little girl with her and she was just so sweet. The owner was lucky to hire a woman Like that. I'd go there just to hang out with her. Also the owner was great. He was super friendly and you could tell everyone that worked there loved the place and loved being there. It's definitely a part of thr community rather than just a laundromat.

Super friendly people here! My friends and I came here 30 mins before closing to do a quick photoshoot for our passion project and the people working here were super nice in allowing us to use their space and even asked us what we needed. We really appreciated that and the space was also very clean!!

Very clean. Staff is wonderful. Went after I got a new kitten who was still potty training and had a few accidents. I'd like to try the wash and fold service.

Clean spot with good machines. Friendly lady here helped me out with using the machines. They have a number inside to text or call with help. You can pay with your phone as well which is nice. They also have a wash and fold service. I haven’t used that yet. It would be nice to have some additional sitting places when it gets busy. I will keep coming here for laundry.

Was clean and looked well maintained. Needs more trashcans since someone used my laundry bag as one. And it could use some fans. A really nice place though.

My mom's washer crapped out mid-load tight. These folks kept their doors open an extra 20 minutes so my mom could get her bedding washed. Plus it's queer friendly, so I'm just a little in love. Thank you so so much. ❤️?????

This is a cozy little place ...very nice staff someone is always on duty to answer any questions or assist.Tends to get crowded as it is a small place and machines are placed pretty tightly togetherband the larger machines full up quick as they only have 6 total. If you are using a smaller washer in the middle on one side...no one can use the one directly opposite you until you are done. They only have two of the basket carts used to move your clothes from washer to dryer... which would be okay if people didn't treat them like personal property when using. I've been there on a busy night and someone had pulled their clothes from the dryer with it and then proceeded to fold their clothes directly from it rather than placing their clothes on the folding table or using their own basket ..or after loading a dryer will park the cart next to them with their soap or something in it to deter someone else from using it.... But..thats not the owners fault.. it's just plain thoughtless and careless. I even overheard the gentleman that works during the day explaining to a woman that they only have two and asking to make sure she makes it available to others when not in intended use and the woman got so offended making some excuse and basically stating that she knows the protocol as she has been coming there for years and dismayed that he didn't recognize her...when all he did was ask her not to hog the carts but in a nice way.The machines accept coins but they also accept payment via pay range app which is very convenient. You simply download the app to your smartphone and add money via debit/credit card or Google pay. The minimum is $10 which is okay however I wouldn't know how to zero out the balance if I wanted to, im never at zero dollars when I'm done lol but no big deal. It also tells you when your clothes are almost done and when they are done with the built in timer feature you always know how much time you have left to wait for the cycle to finish... very helpful.I started going their because of the people that work there. Always friendly and inviting ..the super easy to use app and because their machines work the way they are intended and get my clothes really clean unlike the laundromat next door to me where I live..ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN.. that will charge you extra for hot or warm water yet they don't have hot or warm water anywhere in the building ...that's how much I like the North Slope. The dryers here also accept pay range app and the only problem with that is the minimum dryer fee using the app is $1.25 which isn't bad but the time is 45 mins and sometimes I don't need that much time but they work and they work well and I could avoid that by bringing quarters or making change at the machine they have which is always working and stocked with coin .They don't have any parking to speak of just street parking ..but that's just how it is in the north end. BUT what they DO have ..makes it all worth it.

It's been remodeled since I was last here, it was nice then and now it has modern conveniences like pay by app. That was a trip saver when I forgot my cash. There's even detergent set out in case you forget to bring some. I love this neighborhood!

My washing machine quit last week... It's starting to leak. I waited as long as I could, then searched for a place nearby that I could get my clothes and my sheets washed. This is the place! It's clean, there is a staff that is present and friendly, and it's efficient! I didn't even need to bring quarters because they have an online payment system (I also take quarters if you don't have a bank account or a credit card). Thank you so much!
