Metro Parks continues to impress me with programs they provide to engage people of all ages in the community. Toddlers at spray parks, youth camps for school-aged kids, teen evening programs, adult and family rec... it goes on. Our parks are well maintained and the staff at Metro Parks work hard and are thoughtful & creative about activities they offer that are fun and affordable.

really disappointed what they do with Owen Beach.Yes this place need playground, but it was much better then now.We used to play volleyball there now is no grass .There was a lots off natural green grass to enjoy, now most is concrete ,and rocks.soso sad , wondering who designed this?!?!(((

They are rude, disrespectful, unorganized and they don’t communicate well and they are nasty they don’t keep their parks clean and the are always selling expired food and drinks. So don’t work there the pay isn’t worth it. They will try and get over on you so stay clear

Our experiences as a family are hit and miss. The experience is either fabulous or frustrating.When it is fabulous: It is clear the event was organized with thought and intention. The adults are clearly trained and professional. Communication is clear. Family walks away with a meaningful experience. This does not mean all is perfect as plans often have bumps in the road. But bumps are handled in a way that does not take away from the experience.When it is frustrating: It is clear there is someone who may not be trained to work with children leading the class/camp. Communication does not exist or is delivered in a rude manner. It appears as though they may hire people outside of the Metro Parks to run classes. This could be a great way to integrate a variety of programs; however, it is clear there is a lack of communication between Metro Parks and some of these outside hires. The customer has to coach the employee on how to use the software to get signed up for a class. There will be multiple employees behind the counter but no one can answer a question or the phone. Classes are canceled within days of the event.We appreciate the overall variety of classes, camps, and workshops offered throughout Metro Parks. I wish there was a better level of consistent training in regard to how to run the software, awareness of procedures, and customer service.

We signed our five year old up for basketball and there was zero communication on where to meet. When to go and what to do. Really disappointed, our five year old was devastated. Metro parks took our money and we never heard from anyone. Not a good program!

Holidays are always fun with Metro Parks! CHAIR FIT at Peoples Community Center is a very popular program. This is unlike any chair program you have ever experienced! Gentle yoga combined with strength and conditioning exercises are performed “in and around” a chair. Always upbeat music and positive vibes! Today we had a holiday party with treats and gifts made by instructor Sunny Young (and her canine buddy Mr. Big). We are a community of friendship! Join us for CHAIR FIT on Monday & Wednesday 8:15-9:15 AM.

I've been to the corporate office on many occasions. I usually go if I can't get thru on the phone. All the staff, especially Ms Christina (Customer Service Lead), has been kind and professional. If there has been a issue with a sports my son signs up for they help resolve the problem.
