I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! I've been bringing my puppy here for over a year, and previously had a dog attending for a couple years. The staff is fantastic and they do such a good job caring for my pup. He's a handful and they manage him SO well. The only bummer is that there isn't a camera for me to watch, but they post photos and those certainly warm my heart!

Tara (Tah-rah) Bergford is the owner and operator of this establishment, and she has been serving the community for over 20 years. Her prices are very fair, she and her staff treat my dog with love and care, and her hours and location are just what I need.

I have been super happy with Lucky Dog. I always had excellent communication and felt the staff was caring and attentive. My dog loved it .

Couldn't be more disappointed with this daycare. 1. Massive lack of communication - I was told numerous times the owner, Tara, would call me to follow up after the meet and greet. I had to call the daycare center twice and finally track down Tara via text to figure out my next steps. 2. His first day went "great" and I was asked to buy a package. When I came to pick up my dog on the second day, I was told he barked a lot and did not respond to the water spray bottle they used on him. He was then put in a timeout where he continued to bark. Due to the barking that day, I was told he can not return to daycare again even though "he is great with other dogs and super sweet". This was the first time I was told that dogs were not allowed to bark at the daycare center. I never got a call during the day to tell me there was a barking issue. I just showed up for pick up and was told he is not welcomed back. There was no second chance or anything. 3. I was never asked to show proof of vaccination. I personally asked before the meet and greet if I need to show a copy of vaccinations before drop off. They said don't worry we will ask for it later ... which never happen. He went there three times without vaccinations on file. I personally do not like writing negative comments about a small business. Although, I am super frustrated with my experience at Lucky Dog. My fiancé is gone for a few months due to his military commitment and I just needed a day of relief between my nursing job and other commitments. Now, I am left scrambling to find some assistance no thanks to Lucky Dog.

My pup Miles has been going to Lucky Dog Daycare for several months now. He’s an energetic 8 month old pup and Tara and her amazing staff have been great with him. They are all so committed to providing safe and responsible care for the dogs in their care. They are the best. So glad we found them.

We’ve been using Lucky Dog Daycare for 10 years now and I really should have reviewed this place sooner, but better late than never! Lucky Dog is amazing on so many levels. The staff are top-notch and true dog lovers- they show a genuine interest in my pups and their well-being. They have a wonderful outdoor space where my dogs get lots of exercise and play time and since both of my dogs are now seniors, they are careful to monitor their activity and give them breaks when needed. The Lucky Dog team are incredibly friendly and compassionate people and I know I never need to worry about my dogs when they are there. I am grateful for the years of care that they’ve given my sweet boys and I can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend!

The staff are very thoughtful and kind, they have enrichment for the fur guests as well as planned activities both inside and out. My dog Henri is very happy here...the cost is on the extreme reasonable side and the care on the extremely well qualified, trained and qualified caretakers.

We've had our two guys here for at least seven years. The staff and owner have treated them like they were their own dogs and have gone above and beyond for their well-being. They come home tired out from all the playing and are always excited to "go to school". We can't recommend Lucky Dog highly enough !

Pain in the butt to work with or get appointments scheduled... only used out of convenience... so far not the best daycare I've used for my dogs...
