I brought in my 1908 Gibralter Gingerbread clock to get it working again. The owner did an exceptional job at fixing it and even printed out a document explaining the history of the clock and where it was made. It even came with a warranty and when it stopped working (close to a year later) I brought it in and he was good on his word and fixed it for me. I highly recommend him to fix your antique clock.

We brought our antique cuckoo clock to Mustafa to have it cleaned and repaired several years ago. He was so wonderful! He did great work, had a pendulum custom made for our clock and gave us a print out with some very interesting information about our clock. We just brought it to him again because we were having issues with it. His shop is fulll of eclectic treasures and he is so friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Rarely do you come across a proprietor that rises above the best. There are kind and pleasant business people and even great folks that operate their stores. However, Mostafa of La Galerie (Tacoma) exceeds those folks with his customer service, craftsmanship, and just down to earth niceness!I had an antique clock that I asked him to look at, based on many references from local antique sellers. Let me say, I am so glad I took their advice! I wanted the clock cleaned so it would run again. But did I get that? YES, and I got a history of the clock, detailed lessons in the proper care and operation of the clock, a substantial warrantee, and most importantly... The feeling that I had just visited a true craftsman who loves loves his trade which made me feel all the better. And to top it off, Mostafa is such a pleasure to talk to. 11 on a scale of 1 to 10!If you want your clock out other timepieces fixed, properly, and at the hands of a master, you'll do well in visiting La Galerie in Tacoma's antique district.Thank you Mostafa!

My first experiences visiting Mustafa blew my wife and I away. His open nature, kindness, compassion and of course his knowledge were so refreshing and genuine. At one point, university students were having a sit down with him discussing the finer details of genetics. Mustafa, is suffice it to say, a bit of a renaissance man.

Mostafa is a wonderful man who can fix any watch or clock, and furthermore, he has exquisite taste in, and is very knowledgeable regarding the antiques that he sells as well. For anyone with a discriminating eye, they will likely find something in this shop to their liking at an often more than fair price.

The owner/operator here is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable people I've ever met. Prices are high because the stuff is good. I always go to him for clock repairs and advice. Hours tend to vary a bit around the holidays

We've been in here twice. We found Mustafa to be a delight to talk to and a pleasure to do business with. Today we bought some lithographs from the mid 1800's and he gave us a heck of a deal on them!

The owner, Mostafa, is very cordial and helpful. He restored our Black Forest clock a couple years ago and it still runs perfectly. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Knowlegable, kind & generous store owner! The only thing I wish was that the store was easier to shop. U ca n tell there are lots of great finds to be found, but u can't walk thru n see things very well.
