Buyer beware. They will argue with even professionals with decades of experience. They don’t even pay attention to their own fine print. How does a business go against their own policies? How do they expect you to change Jdm parts to Usdm when they aren’t present. Parts specialists they most definitely are not.Oh yeah. Don’t forget, they like to talk over you and won’t listen to the customer that just spent thousands with them

I want to say I'm very happy with the product, service and communication that JDM Seattle gave me! I bought a 1JZGTE non vvti motor from them and it was in great condition overall. they provided me a compression check by video of each cylinder.

I had a great experience with JDM Seattle. I purchased an engine from them and had it shipped to Canada, and the motor works perfectly. I ????% recommend!!! I won't be taking my business anywhere else after the amazing customer service I received here! I was able to get in touch with them during the whole shipping process. They were able to answer any questions I had. I would choose them over every business I've gone to!If I could give 100 stars I would!

I have bought many engines and installed several in my personal race cars. I trust the owner because he selects the engines and clips personally when he is in Japan. Pro tip, when installing an engine from here, keep in mind some motors can be sitting for some time and they are not brand new. I personally install new seals and timing components and I'll crank the engine by hand to prime the oil system without the plugs installed to make sure the main and rod bearings get some juice on them before I fire the engine. I will fill to the top of the dipstick and leave the filter out, and crank the motor by hand with a long cheater bar till I see some oil come out the filter base, then I'll fill the filter with oil and install. And crank it some more till it drops the level on the dipstick some more. This indicates your engine is getting primed. Also, change the oil and filter after it warms up and fill with fresh oil. There will be some old fluids and moisture from the trip in the boat to usa sometimes. Just good practice. These steps can increase your chance of having a successful 1st start and avoid rod bearing getting wiped from sitting and drying out. Also another tip, you may see black "soot" in the intakes near the injectors, this is normal occurrence with Japanese fuel, as it turns dark (us fuel doesn't tend to react this way) and motors that sit for a little. Once you fire up the engine, it will clear out instantly. Also, sometimes compression numbers can read low until you run the motor a little and the oil circulation kicks in. I've tested motors before and after running and before I've seen 60-150 psi all over the place, then after running a few minutes and retest later, I get perfect numbers. They are amazing with warranty, and are straight shooters. I've been buying Subaru engines from the man and feel comfortable buying from them for the foreseeable future. Hit me up with questions on my ig @ subtledriver

My experience with JDM Motors was great I needed the motor for my 2006 Honda Accord V6 they had one in stock they professionally loaded it into my van I brought it home worked on removing my old engine putting in a new one that I got from JDM and not to my surprise the engine started right up and has been running great for a month now I really would recommend anybody that needs an engine or other things that these guys sell don't expect a fancy showroom or a fancy Warehouse do expect that they will give you a great running running engine as I am super happy that they were able to help me out the photo attached is after I installed it in my car

This is Rich at Richtuned Motorsports, we specialize in Honda engine swaps and performance. The Jdm engine’s that we have purchased from JDM Seattle have been awesome with no problems. In the last year we have purchased and installed over 10 engines swaps from this company and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend this company!

I do not recommend Jdm Seattle, if you do buy from them thoroughly inspect what you get.First engine they sold me was full of water and rust. They did swap it out for another one that they said was just inspected and compression tested, even though he couldn't give me accurate numbers, it did test better than i was told it would. But the second engine was obviously taken apart and poorly put back together with stripped holes and stuff not where it's supposed to be.
