I've used my tax person Scott for the past 2 years. He was referred to me by someone else who had a great experience. I had no problems and I trust that he will take care of my need in an ethical manner. Kudos! Thank you Scott!:)

I've been going to this exact location for probably 5 years now. I am happy with how they help you do your taxes and usually the return comes back pretty quickly. I know that they are a little short staffed at the moment with not having a receptionist at the front desk. Even so, their customer service was over and beyond. Thanks guys! :)

Absolutely terrible, I have been an HR Block customer since I was 16. Never have I been turned away 30 minutes before closing. Today changed that, as the two reps inside were standing there doing absolutely nothing chatting. To provide this service to a return customer at tops takes 20 minutes. Thank you for letting me know customer service is not valued at HR Block

Bad customer service!!! Called to see if they did walk ins for tax returns, they said yes. When I came in 20mins later a lady very rudely asked what I was there for. I said I want to do my tax return and she said I need an appointment. Bad customer service doesn’t get my money.

I went to have my 2022 taxes done at the 88th & Pacific Ave (Tacoma), I had to watch the "tax preparer" because she was entering the wrong numbers! I also did an amendment to my 2021 taxes because I was able to itemize and claim my mortgage interest. That was February 10th...on April 19th, after waiting for my amended return funds, I called another location and was told it had not been sent!!! I called the 88th & Pacific Ave location and THEY LIED and told me it had been filed just wait a few more weeks to check the IRS site!!! I went to the office and had them print the information that showed they lied & hadn't electronically filed it until April 19th...2 MONTHS I WAITED AND WOULDN'T HAVE EVER RECEIVED IT HAD I NOT CALLED!!!!! WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN & WILL TELL EVERYONE ABOUT MY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! HOW IRRESPONSIBLE AND ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY LIED TO ME!!!

I'm handling my late mother's estate and still going through a lot of different emotions (..I miss her so much). My mother had always spoken highly about Melvin Ravenall and after meeting with him for the first time this past week, I completely understand why.Melvin is very knowledgeable about taxes and answers questions in an easy-to-understand manner. He was very kind to me during the appointment - especially after I burst into tears feeling overwhelmed and emotional. Melvin took the time to talk to me and told me some things about himself and his family which was comforting. I felt a whole lot better after the appointment. The kindness that was extended to me this week will never be forgotten.Kudos to H&R Block for having a wonderful employee like Melvin Ravenall!

The receptionist has the worst, customer service. I called to reschedule an appointment and she first gave me an attitude saying my name was not on the schedule and then I had her check under my husbands name and she was like no I don’t have anyone here under that name and she finally found it and was like oh yeah, whatever and then, I asked her if I can schedule it for next week and she was just being really rude about me rescheduling you give me the worst attitude and then I asked her what was wrong and what was her problem started being nasty I asked to speak to a manager refuse to let me talk to the manager said she was busy and that they would call me back. Doubtful that the manager will call me back. I don’t understand why it’s so hard for people to be nice when they’re being paid and employed, we are just trying to get a service that we’re paying for.Also, my experience with the representative that I had in the past doing my taxes the year of 2021. Was extremely helpful. He explained everything and I just wanted to get back on his schedule, but regardless, I don’t think I need the extra attitude from the receptionist.
