Nice clean rooms and convenient location close to, but not right on the freeway. Parking is tight and limited. Staff was decent but were mostly interested in their phones. Good hotel for the business crowd. Great little Mexican place right across the parking lot.

We stayed here one night while visiting a few museums in Tacoma and it's a nice place. I spent a lot of time over-researching hotels in the area and think I chose well. As others have mentioned, the area , itself, is a tad bit sketchy, but the hotel and parking lot are absolutely fine and conveniently located right off I-5. Lots of places to eat within a 5 minute drive. The double queen room felt large, in part because they've done a really good job of using space well. And the beds were that perfect balance of soft and firm. There were far too many pillows, but that's pretty usual for hotels. And they did a great job with the decor and room amenities. And lots of places to charge electronics including one of those wireless bedside chargers. And the blackout shades really worked. It didn't feel run down or old at all. Or have any weird smells. The breakfast bar opens crazy-early (5:30am!) and covers all the bases. (The easy-to-use pancake maker was fun to use!) We had a laundry room on our floor (2nd) and, while we didn't need to use it, it looked just fine. Same with the indoor pool. We didn't have time to use it but I scoped it out and it looked good. The lobby has a decent lounge and workspace area and even a useful little mart with drinks, frozen meals, etc. in case you want to forego a trip out for dinner. It's a regular, quiet express hotel which is exactly what we were looking for.

Very disappointing the way my family and I were treated. We were there for a sporting event. The bathroom was disgusting. I travel with cleaning supplies so I cleaned the hair and scum from the sink and shower smh! The hidden charges are ridiculous how do you get charged a smoking fee and you DONT SMOKE!?! NEVER AGAIN!! Also they offer free breakfast but the toaster they provide was broken. Such a great place... NOT!!

Loved it here ! Staff was nice and the beds are great! It’s very modern and comfy place . Clean and smells good in the hallways. I would recommend.

I’ve been an IHG member for many years as Diamond Elite member. Currently I’m now a Platinum member. I was charged an expensive rate for an extra stay. $128 Thursday, $180 Friday and charged $247-259 + taxes. Stated I would receive a refund $67 or 10k points. Until now, I have received neither, nor have I received a receipt asked for over phone and via email four times. In addition, I worked 16hr days at a local pickleball tournament, the room keys went inop for a third time, and this time after work approximately 10-11pm. My keys were not packed near my phone or other cards as warned, but still not allowing access. I went down stairs to get rekeyed, and let the front desk know. I patiently waited and he said I have other customers I have to check-in, the other customers stated I could go ahead, and he still made me wait for one. Extremely rude. The 2nd customer stated can you please take him first…and he finally rekeyed my room. Consider staying down the street closer to the Galleria. 5 minute drive away for better service and a better location. I know I will next time.

Ashley worked the night shift and was one of the nicest people I have ever met. If you’re a night owl the lobby will be for you when she’s working!Safety: Felt safe and more, “at home” than most hotels.

I was warned by my work group after arriving that this was a sketchy part of town. That being said, I thought this was a pretty good hotel. The pool area was nice. Just a heads up that if you get a King Suite you are in for a room 3x bigger than other hotel rooms with a full kitchen. I was blown away at how big it was! Free breakfast and easy access to I-5. There is a lot of exterior noise, so this might not be a great hotel for light sleepers. Front desk was very helpful whenever I had a question or need. I had no problems with smash and grabs or getting my car stolen, hopefully it is a good place for you to stay as well. Access in and out can be tricky as well since the entrance is right in front of a street light.

I was worried after booking initially because of the reviews. However, after staying my family and I had a wonderful time. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good (for a hotel breakfast). The pool was clean. I was even able to get my requests accommodated. I genuinely think all the bad reviews are for the Holiday Inn that’s across the street.

We stayed in Holiday Inn Express my daughter had surgery 6 am and the security and sleep was appreciated. after her surgery we returned in room to rest a few hours and before our drive home and I asked for a late check out but because our room was through INDIGENOUS HEALTH CANADA they said late check out was not an option because we didn’t actually pay for the room. I explained a couple hours sleep would help wonders for the long drive home and still it was not an option. If anything a late check out should be encouraged for children who recieved any type of medical treatment and to help caregivers get rest who have to drive home sometimes 10 hours away I was disappointed and truly disgusted with the lady’s at the front desk who were soo cold hearted and mean we will NOT be staying there again!!!!!Safety: MY CAR WINDOW GOT SMASHED IN THE PARKING LOT AND MY WORK LAPTOP WAS STOLEN

The room is clean and everything works mostly. But the water pressure is horrible and luke warm water is the hottest the shower gets. I let the front desk know several times during our stay and no one knew what to do. They told me this is a common complaint and issue and they have not been able to figure out out. I would not recommend staying there. Cold showers with a dribble of water is unacceptable.
