Too many fails, it's bad when the outside noise is better preferable to their excuses

The room was nice and clean. Staff were nice and attentive. My only complaint was the construction going on. Started at 6 in the morning and stopped at 5. A little pricey and location is industrial, but parking is at least gated which is nice. You do pay for parking.

Booked this place months ago for a massive export conference and zero notification of massive renovations, external construction to the exterior street in front of the hotel. Dealing with jackhammering, truck noise at 2 AM for the second night in a row. How are there no sound ordinances here? Avoid this place like the plague and stay down the street at a more reputable Marriott. How about putting folks in rooms on the opposite side of the hotel to minimize noise?Terrible management.

It's 2am, and there's a construction crew working on the road in front of the hotel. They're installing new piping for some renovation work being done in the hotel, which means that this work schedule was planned by the hotel management. It's 2am and the crew is running some kind of grinding equipment, and every few minutes there's a backing-up alarm from one of their vehicles. I'm on the eighth floor, and you can see I'm not right next to the construction, but it's a lot of noise from here. I can't imagine what it's like for guests who are closer. This is completely unacceptable. If you absolutely had to have the crew working overnight, then you should've blocked out every room facing the street as unrentable for that time. Act like you have just a little bit of care for your guests, and demonstrate an ounce of professionalism. This is a massive amount of incompetence. For this to be planned so poorly requires a failure on *several* levels of management. Every single person involved in that decision making process needs to be retrained on the meaning of the word 'hospitality' immediately. The most senior person who signed off on this plan needs to be fired, they shouldn't ever be in charge of anything related to hotels ever again.

Second time staying here. They're currently remodeling (they were at our last stay as well), but it was quiet the whole time. The rooms are nice and very tidy. All of the members of staff have been really polite. The free breakfast might not be the most exciting, but they offer several options and it's tasty all the same. They offer a small on-site parking garage but it is extra to utilize it.The selling point for this hotel was that it was a walkable distance from the Tacoma Dome.Rooms: Very tidy, the newly renovated rooms are very nice!Nearby activities: Pacific Ave has several food options. There's a few breweries nearby, too.Incline Cider is literally across the streetThe Tacoma Dome is walking distance away!Walkability: Noted already, but loved that it was a reasonable walking distance from several food options and the Tacome Dome. No need to pay outrageous parking fees for concerts

We stayed in the middle of construction which had some challenges, but I can’t say enough about the staff. I appreciate all of the breakfast staff, but Tawana in particular. She has such a joyful energy, even when facing multiple challenges and she really got my morning off to a great start. Also, Nicole helped us with a room issue at arrival which was also appreciated.

Terrible stay!!! The TV in the room was out. Then construction began before 8 making all sorts of noise. When I called the front desk about it the were unapologetic about it and told me they would do nothing about it. Then told me I should be happy it didn't start earlier.

I would have given it 5 stars except they were renovating and the elevators were very slow because of it. Also, we didn't know there was not a swimming pool anymore until we got there.Breakfast was nice, the customer service at the front desk was top notch and I was really happy about having a safe place to park my vehicle.Walkability: The location is great. Lots to eat and things to see close by. Go see Chihuly Glass bridge for sure

This was an emergency stay. They responded well when informed of our situation. There was no power due to construction. City running new power lines. It definitely was a nice experience.

The Holiday Inn is located in a great location. My stay was while the facility was under renovations. However, I had a very pleasant experience. The lobby decor is very nice and clean. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast options were plentiful. The gym had cardio and strength building options. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I give 5 stars because every staff member I talked to was kind and willing to help make our stay great. They are going through renovations, so some things are not perfect, but how else can they renovate? We ended up in an older room, but it had a fridge and a sleeper sofa so we were able to have 3 beds, and that was a must have. Newer queen suites won't have the sleeper sofas. The breakfast was amazing with all the options including hot items. Because of th breakfast and kind staff all throughout the hotel I give 5 stars. It no longer has a pool.Right now laundry is not an option which was a reason I had booked it. Luckily they let me use it, but I think it's completely closed now.
