5003 Tacoma Mall Blvd #102, Tacoma“I’ve had amazing experiences at Marvel food and Deli. If you’re in the area and you love multi-cultural shopping and dining experiences, please support this local business. The grocery side is amazing, they have such a variety of European produce, sweets, teas, and other groceries. Their fresh bakery is amazing as well. On the deli side, you’ll be met with an amazing assortment of fresh comfort foods and pastries as well as a full service espresso bar. They even cater events at their event space, and it is very affordable. The deli offers great catering packages as well. Please stop in and check this place out!”
“excellent prices. in the last couple of weeks, I've been able to get:
2 lbs. of french green beans for $1
corn for 40 cents per ear (unshucked)
1 lb. of strawberries for $2
2 lbs. of brussel sprouts for 50 cents
bell peppers for 80 cents apiece
when the prices are really low, you need to eat/prepare the food more quickly than grocery store purchases. the employees are always courteous when I shop there.”
“Friendly service, good selection of food products and produce. Low prices mostly. A lot of it is past the pull date, which may be concerning to some people. Not a place for big stock-ups. The lady behind me was buying cases of stuff, though.”
“I love this market! There's a little bit of everything you would need or want. The bakery items are awesome! The giant chocolate chip cookies are even more delicious when you follow the instructions and warm them up, but taste just as good right off the shelf! The chocolate ganache cake is to die for. The pastries...yummy!”
7AM - 10PM
618 N 1st St, Tacoma“I stop by occasionally for a quick bite and they have a great selection of items. There's a small coffee shop and a hot/cold foods deli inside. I've had a breakfast sandwich, tea salad, and juice from here. All yummy!”
“Always have a great selection on hand and great prices.. couple of the younger cashiers could use some training in
customer service in politeness.. beyond that it's a pretty good store.”
8AM - 9PM
6425 6th Ave, Tacoma“I get my candy bars and pumpkin seeds from here. Occasionally, you'll find random things every week. I hardly eat because it's too much work, but when I do, I go here and grab a candy bar. Good place to get soaps and shampoos for a good price. Good brands, too, like Jason, etc. They used to have better prices, but yeah not as decent as it used to be, but still okay.”
5:30AM - 10PM

“Products in this store are DELICIOUS and remind me of my childhood.
Bread is to die for.
I usually buy Ryazhenka ( baked cultured milk) from Biolife, and it is amazing.
My other favorite is amish cottage cheese, which is super soft and yummy.
I also tried different types of salami, so far I like the one called "Moskovskaya".
I love everything about this store: a variety of products, cleanliness, and organization.
However, some of the cashiers do not look friendly? to say the least.
Update: Today the cashier was way nicer. Hopefully all cashiers will keep up positive attitude. It makes a big difference?”

4502 N Pearl St, Tacoma“A little pricey, but 1 in 3 women will get cancer 1 in 2 men will also. So organic is expensive but so is cancer. Say no to Bill Gates GMO in your body. The sugar I buy here doesn't get me fat like the normal one does.”
“The lady/cashier is absolutely amazing she's very friendly and she always drops what she's doing just to help you find what you need.If you blink you might miss it!so if you do get a chance to stop by dash point/browns point, do it! has a great view of Puget sound and the people are amazing”

Their frozen section has great deals on bulk items such as gyoza and frozen pretzels. The staff are always friendly and there are good parking spaces.”
“You need to be a creative and saavy shopper. I go in with a menu idea and then may have to get creative to match ingredient items available to what I have planned. Prices are workable. Lots of fun items. Employees are friendly and helpful. Checkout is a breeze. Love this place.”

1913 S 72nd St, Tacoma“Place was super busy, slammed even. The line was likely.fifteen deep. By time I got up TO register i was pretty stressed and annoyed. Melina g name unknown was cashier. She was super friendly and outgoing and even after the madhouse she was upbeat. She said she worked long day before and still was smiling. I appreciate that thank you.!”
“Even though it's small, it's fun to see what's available. There are fewer vendors than there used to be. So far this season there have been only 2 vendors selling a selection of produce. If you're looking for lunch, your choices so far are teriyaki/bbq, Indian, pizza, & mexican.”
“Amazing store with the kindest people. Very organized assortment of meats, pantry ingredients, drinks, snack foods, unique fresh ingredients, and some hot dishes that I'm still dreaming about.”

5602 6th Ave, Tacoma“Wonderful beer selection. Meat and produce are fairly priced and very good quality. Anything else you buy there is 10-20% more than a grocery store. It is usually a quick and easy stop though, so a lot of times the extra price is worth the headache, imo.”
“Thank you because you're being a liquor store here for quite some time but it was a lot smaller when it was state ran. I don't recall this one still being there I thought it had closed but maybe it didn't. It is for sure quite bigger and it has a lot of that household grocery items in it which is convenient for people that live close by. The staff was friendly they sell Lotto there. Nice to know it's there if you're in the area.”

They also have a great blunt rap selection”
“This place is well-stocked, reasonably priced, and has friendly customer service. On top of that, if you're a regular and you mention that you're looking for something in particular, or ask them to stock more of something, they usually will. Super nice "local bodega" feel that you don't find all that often.”

6405 E McKinley Ave, Tacoma“Friendly corner store with a nice selection. Was happy to find a newer beverage ive been wanting. With the wider isle you don't feel so cramped.Don't let that stop ya, support a local store with good service.Don't expect a Walmart AM/PM selection but I enjoy stopping in.”
“It's all about the crispitos for me. So crispy... so good. Young and other are always professional and friendly. This is a good spot for tasty little fried treats”
“I prefer this store over others and they always have the prettiest flowers. Staff is nice. When i accidentally left $40 cash back In the self check out, when I realized it and went back to check, someone had taken it and pocketed the cash and didn’t turn it in. I told the manager about what happened and they actually were nice enough to give me $40 to make up for my loss. Also the couple times I was a little short (less than .50 cents) for my amount due at self checkout the staff was nice enough to reach in their own pocket for the change for me. I’ve never had a bad experience here and I live down the road.”
“This is easily one of my favorite stores to shop at. It's very convenient with great low prices and a wide selection of drinks and snacks. The vape selection is also very nice and reasonably priced. I have been coming here for years, and the owner is very pleasant to talk to. Parking is readily available and the location is prime.”

1901 S Mildred St, Tacoma“You wouldn't believe what's in that store it looks small like it doesn't have a whole lot but it is packed jam full with anything you can imagine and they take EBT, the only thing about that that's not cool is that they don't have the lottery other than that I would visit that store a lot more often”
“If you're an islander, there's a good chance you can find many things you need for cooking. We don't come here much because it is our of the way for us, but we usually find what we need to make our meals. The people not at Saars to shop, lingering outside by the front entrance can be annoying at times.”
8AM - 9PM
3510 S 56th St, Tacoma“Always something new. Prices are affordable on most things. Bring ur own bag!!! They offer boxes. Plastic bags cost 20 cents each. No curb side assistance. Shopping carts are often dirty depending on location”
“Great place to come get halal food, fragrances, halal meat, and much more. I came here the first time with friends after Jumu’ah at the Tacoma Islamic Center. They have a lot of excellent items available. The store is much bigger than it looks like and they sell Prayer rugs and carpet at good prices. The owner Lala was very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed chatting with him and look forward to coming back soon”
