I chose this B and B because it looked interesting and was reasonably priced and close to our destination. The room (and the rest of the house) was clean, comfortable, and interesting to explore. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back..

This was such a charming bed and breakfast. I loved how much love and time that the hosts put into this historic home. Full Maximalist decoration until you enter the rooms which are peaceful simple and clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and home cooked. It was also nice to chat with all the other guests and feel at home. If you have a car this place is very accessible. Using public transportation expect a 20 minute walk which is very charming.

*This review is for exceptional customer service not the actual hotel* I was scheduled to stay here tomorrow for a concert. The owner just called to let me know the concert was canceled and to cancel my reservation without penalty. Ticketmaster hadn't even notified me yet!!! I am blown away by the amazing customer service. Also I am vegetarian and gluten free and the owner was able to accommodate me without issue. I hope I get the opportunity to stay here in the future. It looks amazing!

This location was everything I was looking for in comfort, atmosphere, history, art, and honestly, food. Jane & Skipp were excellent and very personable hosts who made us feel welcome and were excellent company on top of their wonderful experiences and life stories. I plan on booking future rooms to enjoy the Geiger house again and look forward to chatting with Skip and Jane during their deliciously and caringly prepared breakfast they served us.The room was beautiful, and so lovingly cared for and maintained that we simply sat examine all the historical items, art and listened to music the entire stay. Beautiful place.Food & drinks: El Gaucho

My wife and I got to spend two nights at this B&B in Nov., 2022. Janet and Skip could not have been more hospitable. We even got to meet the family dog. It's really a five-story gem they have restored and managed to keep up (and decorate) beautifully over the years. During our stay they were generous enough to share stories about it's construction and photos of the original owner/builder (with his dog if I remember correctly). We hope to return next time we visit Tacoma (or Seattle).

Fantastic beautiful victorian style B&B!My wife and I stayed here and loved the service and atmosphere. When we arrived the hosts had been sweet enough to take it upon themselves to upgrade us for free to the suite room, since no one was using it that day.The room was beautiful, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was delicious. Both hosts are super inviting, friendly and curious people and we felt right at home talking with them.If you want to experience a cozy b&b with friendly hosts and a warm welcoming atmosphere, I can’t recommend this place enough.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The B&B is beautiful and well maintained. We had a private bath, the bed was comfortable and we had plenty of space in our room. Breakfast was very enjoyable, and we were able to chat with the owners about the area, sights to see and restaurants to enjoy. I would definitely recommend Geiger to anyone staying in the area, and would love to come back myself.

We loved spending part of our honeymoon here! First off, the location can't be beat. Situated in the lovely North Slope Historic District, it is a stone's throw from the bay and downtown shops. Picture Little Free Libraries, porch cats, Victorian and Craftsman houses with massive front gardens wreathed in hydrangeas, foxgloves, and cherries. We even saw mountains on our morning stroll. We got to see Stadium High School, which the owners' daughter attended, and checked other cool oddities off our list, like the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and Bob's Java Jive. The proprietors, Jane and Skip, were solicitous and sweet. Their son even made us a bouquet for our room! So thoughtful! Jane helped us secure parking, chatted us up, made us comfy, and cooked the most delicious sour cream ricotta berry crepes. We loved the cookies, the quiet, the museum-like interior, and the charming Alice room with the yellow floral wallpaper and ensuite bathroom. I wish we could've stayed forever.

We had a lovely stay with Jane and Skip during our visit to Tacoma. The B&B is in a great walkable location with a lot to explore nearby. Both of our breakfasts were wonderful with fresh food and enjoyable conversation. Thank you!

Jane and Skip go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. The bed was great, breakfast was delicious, and the company was even better. The house is incredible too.
