Unfortunately Forest joined our family early pandemic, when socializing was difficult. He was reactive to other dogs and walks were stressful and our adventures limited.
Thanks to a referral, from a friend of a friend, we met with Garrett and started training together. His calm snd knowledgeable manner relaxed both of us. It's truly training for both pet and owner. His trained dog assistants gave us an opportunity to learn how to meet other dogs, in a safe manner. We are still a work in progress, but we have the tools to continue moving forward, and know where to return if anything arises in the future.

Updated based on response from owner.
The Alpha and Omega "expert" dog-trainer was never able to handle my dog or improve his reactivity during any of the sessions, yet somehow their method is effective? It didn't work at all, even for their expert! When the dog attack occurred, I wasn't 10-20 feet away, and Garrett wasn't even present. I never let go of my dogs leash and was pulled to the ground. I left with dirt, vomit, and blood all over my clothes and skin. The trainer also told me this wasn't the first dog fight Cota had been in. Rather than refund the two sessions, for services not rendered, they refused until after I reported the attack to animal control and threatened to take civil legal action. Also, watching the orchestrated training video is not a proper review. They actually prohibit video of any training sessions. Probably because all they do is walk dogs around their property. There is no training taking place. They had no idea how to handle my highly reactive rescue dog and refuse to admit they were in over their head. You can see from his response to other negative reviews this guy is not someone to trust with your pets. He is a delusional (grandiose sense of skills) and unreasonable person.

Giving one star because I can't give zero stars. Today was supposed to be my 8th and final session with Alpha & Omega dog training. I asked to reschedule because the forecasted high is 96 degrees and there is a heat advisory in place warning people and pets to stay indoors. They would not reschedule without charging me $100 fee. These "trainiers" clearly don't care about the health and welfare of their clients or the dogs they train. Putting my dog under absolute stress in this weather is unacceptable. This was the final straw really, after all, my dogs reactivity to other animals DID NOT IMPROVE AT ALL in 7 one hour sessions. In the 6th session, my dog was mauled by a "training dog" they use on site by the name of Cota. My dogs ear was ripped in half, and he had numerous puncture wounds on his head and face. No veterinary care was offered. This happened in the first 15 minutes of a paid session which I did not have refunded or rescheduled. All they did was offer some paper towels to try and stop my dogs bleeding. This place is a couple guys walking dogs around in a yard. There is no skill or training tactics used. 7 sessions of walking my dog around their yard while he reacted to all the other dogs. Even the trainer could not handle my dog with any level of ease. If you're looking for puppy training this place MIGHT be for you. If your dog has any behavioral issues, aggression, or reactivity to other animals, save your money. I basically paid $1,000 to have my dogs reactivity made worse from a dog attack and have this place threaten the health and welfare of me and my dog, expecting us to arrive for OUTDOOR training in 96 degree weather. I would not recommend this place to anyone for dog training or dog boarding.

+ Calm down. I have no reason to lie about your bush-league trainers, also I see some of your previous customers agree with me. Good luck with your unprofessional business.
Paid for a private, one hour session. It was a bit pricey compared to any others. Garrett is not the guy that is gonna train your dog and we didn’t know that before we booked the session. Whoever the guy was that trained our dog didn’t even ask what our dog’s name was and wanted us to decide at the end of the session whether to purchase multiple sessions saying we had to decide right there in order to get the discounted price. We paid
a couple hundred for this one hour and all we ended up with was listening to information you could pretty much get from some people at dog parks. We felt like this guy was constantly talking more than he was actually doing something with the dog. We’ll still try the techniques he shared and if they work, I will absolutely change this review’s rating.

Amazing communication. My dog had so much reactivity issues. But hy the time we were done she has completely turned around and has become a more confident dog! Thanks Garret and David!

Garrett taught my Belgian Malinois how to run on the treadmill and helped us out tremendously. Due to his guidance, my dog loves running on the treadmill and this helps me keep up with her energy demands.

We had nothing short of an amazing experience with this family of dog trainers. David was our puppy Woofgang's trainer, he was extremely personable and his energy meeting and training Woofgang was extremely professional. The 2 dogs they use for training/socializing were also extremely well behaved, it was our biggest worry especially seeing how big Moxie was to Woofgang, turns out we had nothing to worry about, David really knows what he is doing! We signed up for the 7 session pup package, the 7 sessions were just enough for us to learn what we need to properly communicate with our pup. It has gone a long way in helping us teach him tricks and obedience skills. The best part is that they didn't push on upselling us at any point like most places, even at our last session I had to ask about more training and David confidently turned it down saying that we shouldn't need any more. It speaks to their confidence and pride in what they do. We liked them so much we were ready to pay for another 7 sessions. On top of training they have great boarding options if we ever need to take a trip where the pup can't easily come with us. I would recommend them to literally anyone with any sized/age dog.

Highly recommend! Some of the aspects we love, relational rewarding and not food or treat rewards, getting your pup to follow your command without having to raise voice or in some other way shame them for failing to obey. They socialize your dog there and take the opportunity to practice staying calm when meeting other animals like chickens, which was very ideal for us as our puppy loves to chase anything smaller than her and anything that runs away. Using the methods we were taught, our 6month pitbull listened, didn't get overly excited, and never attempted to take off chasing them. This is all during the 1st session. We can't recommend this place enough!10 stars!

Absolutely amazing program for dogs!! Garrett and his team are the real deal - dog whisperers with results! After years of conventional training and much wasted effort our Australian Shepard still had so many problems with fear and aggression. This method truly addresses those problems and teaches the owner and dog a new way to communicate while healing the dog. Highly, highly recommend this training! Especially for intelligent and highly active breeds. Also, highly recommend Garrett's book 'Dog Myths'. This is a must read for any dog owner. Thank you!!

We have had two sessions so far for our 14-month old Cane Corso. The training is easy to follow and we have started to see improvements. We look forward to our future training sessions and appreciate the guidance we have received.
