The face looks like it's real wood. Tried to stain it, but the stain didn't penetrate. However, the stain left some marks that we couldn't get off, so we decided to sand it. After a while of sanding, we saw pieces of particle board starting to show through the veneer. Long story short, their cabinets are particle boards.

I decided to get the Home Depot credit card to try out how everything would go before I decide to go with the revolving commercial account for my business. Today I have decided that I will not be using Home Depot in general anymore. They advertise on the Home Depot app that some tools are certain prices but they will not honor THIER OWN price in store. I asked if they would let me pay the online price and I was told NO. "Corporate wants us to encourage use of the app" is what I was told by the employee in the store. So instead of buying the tool to use today like I need, I have to order it and wait until they open tomorrow to go and pick it up so I can finally finish this job. I will NOT be using Home Depot anymore and I definitely will NOT be using Home Depot for my business or personal use.

Replaced an order in store for delivery to our home. We spent $3,000. The home Depot employees went out of their way to let us know that we are not valued customers after prepaying in full for our order.The delivery logistics were a nightmare and they shorted us on our order. I had to drive to the store to pick up the last portion of the order and I was misdirected to speak with the assistant manager who is now on vacation for a month.The behavior of the employees was unconscionable. The cognitive dissonance demonstrated by home Depot staff clearly showed that they do not understand customers are the reason they have jobs.I will never give home Depot another dime.

never again. something needs to be done about the way home depot's care for their plants. (same with lowes)every time ive tried with home depot, each plant comes with spidermite eggs. this time the spidermites have gotten to all of my plants in my 70+ plant collection. please avoid buying any plants from home depot. stick to real nurseries.

I wish I remember the persons name that works in lumber there, maybe Jessie (working Easter)? EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE - patient, got me a cart, helped select my plywood and cut it.I hate shopping because sometimes I feel people are working and not genuinely helping you. He helped me. Not that it matters but if it helps get him accolades, the gentleman was deaf. You're lucky to have him Home Depot!

Home Depot's website says they price match. I attempted to purchase a wireless router from the Center St location in Tacoma. The router is advertised at Walmart for $69. (It was $89 at Home Depot) I attempted to show this to the cashier and she told me the SKUs don't match so she couldn't match the price. She said this before she even looked at the ad on my phone. Then when I requested that she ask a manager, they talked awhile and then told me that they can't match the price on a online product...even though the ad said I could pick it up in store today. So I left and drove about 25 minutes to Walmart in Puyallup and bought it for $69. Same exact product/ same SKU. Then I took the product back to Home Depot and the store manager said the other manager I spoke to should have given me the discounted price. I asked for a gift card to help cover my time and gas, but he said they can't do that. Meanwhile the original manager that refused me came over to justify her actions...instead of just giving me a genuine apology, which is all I wanted at that point. But, when a person has no humility...apologies give way to grasping for justification of actions. Overall a very disappointing experience. Recommend you just ask for the store manager if you have a price match. The employees are not empowered to take care of customers and they seem to look for ways to say 'no' instead of trying to do what's best for their customers.

Have been the lucky customer who has had Chuck assist me 3 times now. He is fantastic, extremely nice and very knowledgeable. Helped me load 36 pavers, sand, rocks to complete my project. I won't be going anywhere else.

Tony and Deanna are wonderful people. I lost my wallet and they ensured for safe return. I've shopped a lot at this store and had multiple flooring projects done... always a good experience. ((James in flooring is also awesome). In an era where you can barely find folks to help or do work.. this is refreshing.

Went to Home Depot today to look for a BBQ grill. Inside the store we went to the area where the grills are on display. Virtually none of them had price tags so we had no idea how much the various grills cost and we couldn't find any associates around to help us. Left a bit frustrated. Home Depot used to be pretty good. They have gone downhill.

My husband waited on hold for 40 minutes to determine if paint he special ordered was ready for pick up. Absolutely ridiculous. They placed him on hold aprox 8 times, clueless as to what department processes special orders, and more clueless as to what"preparing the order" means in the email sent from their company. Totally inept and outrageous.
