This place is a nightmare. Been waiting for over 2 hours to get loaded. Very unorganized some of the forklift operators you can tell are rookies takes them forever to unload trucks. Hope I don’t have to come back here again.

Provide an option to the we don't ship to Alaska respond we get way to offen. They are a good company. Will save you a lot of money. If people would only put who, and the city when they ship things to them. Life would be better for everyone. Get your items quicker.

Be prepared to have games played. I arrived 24 hours early on a Sunday morning. I like to park at my final if possible to get ready to unload the next morning with no delays. I pulled my tarp's and then waited till morning to be pull straps in case I was told I needed to move. At 4am I woke and removed straps. The first guy in opened the gate for me and another driver to pull in. When I pulled in I saw a sign that said don't remove straps. Since these were palletized barrels that were banded to the pallets I wasn't worried they would move at the max 5mph yard speed. They are big on safety in regards to moving loads around un-secured if it's on your trailer but they can move stuff around on theirs no problem. Had these guys unload 10 trucks ahead of me because I pulled straps off the palletized barrels I had. Barrels were 4, 55 gallon drums per pallet, plywood top, banded all the way around secured to pallets. Dude came out and told me I needed to re-secure the load. He said just throw a few straps. I put 6 ratchets front to back xing them over the load. They let me sit as they pulled in a few more trucks to unload. Then another dude comes and says I need a strap over each pallet. So I pulled everything off again, frustrated even more at this point. And they finally come and get me so I can move 100 yards to unstrap again. Funny thing while I was doing that the yard truck comes rolling through with two stacked flatbeds NO TIE DOWNS AT ALL!!! And then while unloading me they decide I'm parked to far back. They pulled me forward about 30 feet. Guess what I asked them " You want me to move forward with no tie downs?" If you see a load coming to this yard I would recommend booking other freight to save you the headaches. I figured from a transportation company they would have a little more respect for truck drivers who bring them freight. Each and every other truck that arrived after me was unloaded before me. Pretty sad state of affairs when you get games like this played. And obviously Carlisle didn't read my review. I didn't have an appointment problem. I had a problem with your joke of a yard crew. Hopefully people read the reviews before hauling freight to your company to avoid these types of problems.

The yard “supervisor” is a complete joke. Very under experienced and rude to customers. I watched him drive around in circles in a forklift while the rest of the employees were working. Multiple trucks in line waiting to be unloaded. I was there for over 2 hours waiting before they began the unloading process. Then the “supervisor” couldn’t seem to figure out how to unload ONE piece of freight from my flatbed, and had to ask one of the employees, who seemed to be far more experienced, how he should do it. It wasn’t like this a couple years ago. Very sad to see a great company start to struggle because of poor management.

Really bad experience, wainting over 2 hours to get unload, is like a ghost yard, nobody to ask or get help to unload, bad place to load or unload, unprofessioal, dirty....
