The guys at Bucky's on Sprague are awesome. I visited on 8/23/24 because my horn had stopped working. They completed a thorough inspection, deduced the issue, explained everything in detail, and then gave me multiple options for moving forward. They were polite and kind, and best of all, they didn't treat me like an idiot because I'm a woman. Thanks guys! I will definitely be back if I need anything else done for my car.

Donald and the guys really showed up for me when I needed a radiator replaced in real time. They got me in and done within an hour including ordering part. I was still able to make my appointment in Seattle. I was astonished at the professionalism. Now I have a shop in Tacoma I know I can trust.

I will start this review by saying that my vehicle was not in the best shape when I got it. Lied to about past maintenance to get it running, my own fumbling attempts at fixing issues *but* Shane & his dedicated crew at this location turned it all around. There was a lot of frustration, not gonna lie, but Shane and his guys *regularly* went above and beyond to help me out of a major bind. End result? I've got a vehicle that works better than it did, probably prior to my ownership. I would've appreciated having my back seat put back in, tho! ? A trifle of an issue, but I'll definitely be bringing my business back to this shop again - but hopefully not too soon! ? Much love to Shane & the guys (Donnie & Will) from the Kinney family!

Took my car in for a simple kill switch installation After 1 hour with my car, Donald left me with a broken speedometer, a new check engine light, and a broken PCM. When I asked Shane about it, he lied about the check engine light being on when I dropped it off. They offered to do free diagnostic work on the engine and the speedometer so I left my car with them for 2 full days but they “didn’t have time to get to it”. On the third day they did get to it and claimed the battery was dead and I needed an alternator which would cost over $1000. Shane also said my fuses were fine and he checked them. Took my car to a better shop for a second opinion and turns out I just needed a new alternator fuse, a 20$ part. All of the employees I met with at were incompetent and/or dishonest. Even for simple car repairs, I would avoid Bucky’s at all costs.

Shane and Donald were the most knowledgeable, kind, patient, friendly people I have ever dealt with! I am so shocked by how helpful they were today. Their customer service is just beyond words.
