“My husband and I took the garden stake class for our first time ever doing stained glass. It was a lovely time and Peter was a great teacher. We ended up taking the full time allowed to us, 10am to 4pm. We only used the tools they provided, but I would maybe suggest bringing goggles. Several times while cutting/breaking glass, bits would shoot off so I several times got hit with flying glass from my own work and others at my table.
They have glass sheets available for purchase at a variety of beautiful styles and price points, as well as other bits and bobs you might integrate into your project. We elected to only use glass from their scrap collection which they price at $3.50 or so per pound. Because they were scrap, they were smaller pieces than most people were using for their projects, but I was happy to make smaller petals in more volume. This did mean I had to pay for more of the leading, but I am so happy with how it came out! My husband also had a good time but he did wish we took Peter's suggestion to take a lunch break haha”

“Just came back from a vacation where I purchased 4 paintings that I wasn't sure if I wanted stretched or framed. Ashley gave me the best of both worlds! Start with stretching and in a couple years if I decide to frame, I'm halfway there! The job the team did was amazing. I had purchased street art overseas and sometimes the canvas is thinner than from a gallery. Ashley was able to stretch it to perfection! Can't wait to hang them!”

“I brought in my 1908 Gibralter Gingerbread clock to get it working again. The owner did an exceptional job at fixing it and even printed out a document explaining the history of the clock and where it was made. It even came with a warranty and when it stopped working (close to a year later) I brought it in and he was good on his word and fixed it for me. I highly recommend him to fix your antique clock.”

“I absolutely loved going into this store, I went with my partner for her birthday and we left with such cool and unique items. 3 new paintings for our home, gold bracelets, and a ton of beads. I paid about $60 which is truly not that bad for all the things we got. Plus the vibe of the store also added to the experience, anything you can think of is probably in this store so go check it out! Extra plus the staff there were very nice, I don’t remember the person who checked us out but I hope they’re having a good day!”

“This was one of the best small galleries I have even been into. The team working was very friendly (and they both had their own art for sale). The music inside was fun and set at a great level. What amazed me most was how many great pieces there were and in so many different styles! There is something for everyone here. I don't buy at most galleries I go to, but we all bought something here. Paintings... sculptures... they have it all. A wide variety of sizes, and all priced very reasonably! Great service, great art!”

Secondly, the 2 of your employees that we have met, Janelle and Charles are truly outstanding representatives of your business. They go above and beyond to help a customer. You will find that you can't train your employees to have that quality. They either have it or they don't. Janelle and Charles have it! My business contracts with the United States military and I have hired people for 27 years with fancy college degrees only to find out they don't even know how to talk to people. Janelle and Charles know how to talk to people. Realize that because of this, their professionalism, their knowledge of product, and their personality, Janelle and Charles make your business money! As long as you have Janelle and Charles, or employees exactly like them, we will be loyal and repeat customers!
Thirdly, there was an issue that could not have been foreseen by us or you. Your business took care of us. You took care of us more than I would have asked. And you took care of us without me even asking. How rare us that? When I was growing up, it was instilled in me that the true measure of a business is in its customer service. Your business has integrity in your business practices. That kind of integrity is almost extinct in American busines now. Your customers notice this and you are appreciated.
Lastly, I call on everyone out there. We need to support MANIC MERMAID. If we don't, we may be left with businesses that obscenely overprice crystals, have no customer service, and no integrity in their business practices. LET'S ALL SUPPORT MANIC MERMAID!
