The folks here are friendly and helpful but also willing to give you the space to shop. They have a lot of large office desks right now, but their selection changes. I even saw some conference room tables! Lots of office chairs and wheelie chairs too. They offer new furniture as well, but this place's specialty is on the used furniture. I haven't bought yet, but I'm looking to purchase a desk soon and they're at the top of my local list currently. I'd say prices are kinda comparable to /slightly better than IKEA but you don't have to assemble stuff.

I hadn't been there in quite awhile but lately had the opportunity to visit this business both at their prior location on 38th and the new location on Cedar. At both locations I found the staff very friendly, interested and quite helpful. I thought the selection of what they had was quite good and the prices quite reasonable. I coveted a great deal more than I could buy!! The specific item I was looking for is not often available in a used or discount situation so I was disappointed, but not surprised, when it turned out they didn't have the item I sought. Delivery charges seemed a bit high, but I haven't done enough research to know if it's out of line... everything seems high priced lately!! At any opportunity to do that kind of shopping again, I will gladly check there first!!

This place is amazing. The company I work for buys 90% of their furniture through them. I was looking for a solution to a problem for work. I had an idea of what I needed, but was having trouble with all the elements. I was short on time, and so I couldn't custom order anything etc. I drive by here all the time, and I was like, well, I have looked everywhere else. I wasn't very hopeful, but went in anyway. So glad I did.For starters they are just the nicest people. When I walked in, I said I have no idea what I want/need, I will know it when I see it. Fair enough. She was working with someone else. All in all we had a good time. I saw something that might work, but wasn't sold on it for sure. I needed to take one more measurement. They had just opened their S. Tacoma Way location that day, so she suggested I check them out, they had a lot more. So I went just for the heck of it, which turned in to just for the fun of it. I was their first customer, they didn't even really have signs up yet. Much bigger space etc. Chatted with the owner for awhile, so nice and genuine. I ended up going back to the 38th st location the next day and getting table I had found, pre paid for it and came and picked it up the following week. They helped me load it, it was all super easy, and such a lovely experience. Can't recommend them enough, so 5+ stars for me.

Action Business Furniture has been my "go to" for many years. They have excellent service and great products. I typically choose from the gently used items, which have always been great products at extremely reasonable prices. Though during Northern Env’s recent office remodel, both new and previously owned items were purchased. Shout out to Danaca and Allison!!! They provided friendly, professional service, going the distance to meet our needs.

First time shopping here. Now I wish I'd come a long time ago! Danika's customer service was outstanding! I told her the type of chair I needed with specifics. She found me two that would work just fine, but one a little better. And it was cheaper too! She fitted it to my low back position. And she explained the brand, the quality of the chair, & made sure I knew how to adjust it. I wanted it without arms & so the awesome "guy in the back" took the whole single bracket piece off which didn't affect the look or impair the safety or function. The whole transaction was very quick too!It's always nice to shop with a local business. They own three stores in the Puget Sound area. I'll be back!

Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable in helping you find the item you are looking for. I came in with an idea of what I wanted already and there was no pressure to buy something else because what I wanted wasn't currently there. Instead, staff was able to sign me up on a wait list in case the item arrived in the future. The place was organized and had a variety of products at fair prices. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you are in search of office furniture.

I bought an office chair here of very good quality. The selection may be unpredictable but there was a lot of variety. And it was well curated good sturdy quality - didn't have to rule anything out for that! Tried a few chairs with headrests, and found a sort of big&tall feeling papa bear size chair, just my size. Then the helpful fellow there, Bud, figured out how all the adjustments on it went for us before we left. Thanks! Sitting on it a few days now and love it!

So glad my friend shared this business with me. I went in and worked with Danaca who was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining the different options for a task chair and I walked away with a great deal on a pre-owned really super comfy and quality chair. They had a ton of new and used items to choose from. I will definitely go back when need a desk or other office furniture items.

This is the first location where a rude lady mocks cash paying customers. Her name is Danna, you should fire her, she almost cost you a customer. Good thing you have another location in spanaway. The old man working in spanaway deserves five stars he was awesome. And I bought my office chair there.
