Tacoma Goodwill - 38th Street is a thrift store that offers affordable shopping options, though some customers find prices comparable to new items at stores like Walmart or Target. The store is praised for its friendly and helpful staff. However, shoppers have expressed concerns about the lack of dressing rooms, full-length mirrors, and open restrooms, which makes trying on clothes difficult and raises issues for caregivers and elderly customers. Parking can be challenging, especially with nearby businesses like a buffet that cause congestion. Customers have also reported safety issues, such as stolen backpacks and camping gear left in vehicles, and hope for better security footage. Despite these drawbacks, the store remains a popular spot for those seeking secondhand items, but improvements in amenities and safety could enhance the shopping experience.
The store is overpriced, especially when things are donated to them. I know they are suppose to support folks, but their pricing needs to improve. They could help more people if they actually sold more stuff with decent prices.

I find the best women's items and glassware! There's not a lot in terms of shoes, bags, and men's, but there's still a lot of good stuff. Everyone who works there is also super friendly. Just be patient finding parking.

Big store but no selection of furniture. Disappointed.
