I have shopped Picket Fence for a long term me. Loved it unique items and the atmosphere of the store. However when I was in yesterday asking about a certain Brighten item I saw on line, the clerk proceeded to help me when another customenpPcame to her interrupting my conversation the clerk conversed with her and totally dismissed me. I just left with no further looking at the other items. I felt really like an unimportant customer I have never been treated like my potential purchase was not needed.

Great gift shop! Something for everyone--my son left with a whoopee cushion and he said the toy section was very cool! We had fun browsing and everyone was super friendly.

I love A Picket Fence. I have been shopping here since the 1990's. My friends and I love coming here. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. It is always a fun experience. I love purchasing gifts for others and myself from A Picket Fence. The live events are so entertaining and informative. The events they sponsor are wonderful.A Picket Fence is one of the most community-minded businesses in the area. I can not emphasize enough the support they give to fellow businesses and the community. They exemplify caring and support.A Picket Fence is a place for friendships. My wife and daughter have shopped here for years and they loved this store. Today, however, they were told by the employee that they could not use a Yiftee Visa gift certificate provided by my wife’s employer. My wife was about to spend about $500 but walked out of the store because the employee wouldn’t run the Visa numbers from the GC.We will use the certificate at another member store instead, and we’re not sure we will ever select a GC from the Sumner Main Street Association again, since this has been quite a hassle. Very disappointing.

I've never had to write a review about a business in my entire life, but I had an experience today that I felt needed to be shared for future customers of this small business. I was shopping for a birthday gift for my mother and I was about to head up to the register when an older looking employee took the item I was intending to purchase out of my hands and quickly whisked it away from me, ($10 Item), and told me she was going to take it behind the counter. I work in retail and have never even thought about stealing anything in my entire life. Please think twice about what small businesses you choose to support, if you want to support a business who treats their paying customers like thieves and criminals, this is your place. I and everyone I know In the surrounding area will never be shopping here again.

What a fun shop! There are lots of fun (and funny) items available--from gummy bears to women's shoes. The staff members are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. A great shop to spend a few hours browsing through.

This is the best store! I especially love how the owner and employees take the time to really chat with customers and make them feel welcome. Samples of delicious treats, gorgeous merchandise, and friendly faces make this my favorite spot to shop for gifts and for special treats for myself too! I absolutely recommend this shop!

One of my fav shops! The staff is amazing. They carry several name brand accessories, clothes and gift items. Fun, unique shopping experience with fresh items every visit. This store is the reason I come to Sumner.
