These are some of the worst ppl you could do business with , they're super rude uneducated and just plain incompetent. I ask to look at weather treated decking this idiot takes me to look at plain wood gives a price for it I do decide to get it versus going to Monroe but the douchebag charges a higher price at check out . Not sure if they're inbred or just naturally stupid! This owner is full of we all know what , Everytime they get called out they come up with some deflection of an excuse or accusations against the customer. It really speaks volumes of the character. I personally wouldn't do business with these ppl especially when you're treated with respect at Lowe's and home Depot which is 10 min away and a lot cheaper.

Creepy political hate filled owner and employees. The absolute worst lumber yard ive seen in 50 years. One star is for Andy And Pat who were very helpful.

Terrible customer service. Some of the product is okay but not cheaper than Lowe’s. Not worth dealing with the really strange people that work there. They leave wood outside uncovered and it’s very warped. Didn’t have a single straight 2x4.

Recently bought quantity 60 10 foot Knotty Pine boards at $.69 ft. Many shattered boards unusable. The store clerk says no returns at that price. My math says $.69 ft with 50% waste equals $1.38 per ft. That makes big box store prices very competitive. Do the math. Don't be fooled by poor pricing or bad business practices. DO THE MATH!This business has no interest in customer satisfaction. They were very rude when talking through this issue. Hello Lowes and Home Depot.

Very odd employee came up to my car trying to record me, after I purchased my items. Be careful of this store if you want your privacy respected and want to shop in peace.

Just moved to the area from Portland, OR which mean I'm also moving a medium sized business here as well. I spend tens of thousands a year in lumber and have been looking for a new place to get wood that isn't Home Depot. A friend recommended that I check out Barmon Lumber in Sultan. Went up there a few days prior to check if they had 4x8 sheets of plywood, and it turns out that they had one kind in the thickness that I needed for a decent price. Decided I would come back a few days later to give them a shot. The old man that runs the place shouldn't be in customer service of any kind. Just kind of rude from the start. His son was cool to me, however, and helped me to get 8 pieces of plywood onto a fork lift so they could be moved to the saw to be quartered. I have an Outback and can't fit whole 4x8 sheets into it, so I need to have them sawed into 2x4 pieces first. The son and the old guy start loading 4x8 pieces onto the wall saw, and immediately, I notice they're using a super old, dull blade, and cutting against the grain, as if they've never done this before. 8 sheets later, I have a stack of *mutilated* wood on the sides from the damage the dull saw blade has done. I literally cannot believe that this is the level of quality I'm getting here, with a piece in my hand that is literally SO DAMAGED, that it's torn the sides up 6 inches into the wood.... I turn to the old guy and ask... is this how you cut all your wood here? He just walks away and says "yep" without missing a beat. I won't be shopping here again, or giving them the tens of thousands of dollars a year I spend on wood for my business. Literally the worst service, and quality you can expect. Highly disappointing.

The only "lumber yard" I've ever been to where asking for 2x3x8s was met with blank stares. Then proceeded to try and convince me that I was actually looking for 2x4s and that 2x3s didn't exist, or were very non-standard. Cripes.

BEWARELoaders can not count. Do yourself a favor and double check the load. Shorted me by ten 16' boards on a load. My fault thinking people could count to 115 but got home and only had 105 boards. Boss did nothing to right this wrong. DON'T SHOP WITH BARMON LUMBER.

Highly recommended. Best place to buy work attire, good prices and even better service. I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve been shopping at Barmon Lumber for 12 years.

To keep it as polite as possible, the fact they are still open blows my mind. My interactions with the owners son was so bizarre I will not be returning and also will voice my concerns with the BBB and the AGs office.

Love this place, Everyone is very helpful. I find most items I need. I am also grateful keep money in town, not have drive miles more to big box stores. I find prices very good. Thank you

The owner will not allow you to go through the stack of wood to pick out the best ones. They charge 20% restock fee. Which is backwards from all the places I have been to. I was hoping to help out the mom and pops operations. But this type of Tom foolery, I will take my business elsewhere. They don't care about customer service.
