Review is for Mt Vernon but for some reason shows as StanwoodHometown hardware store: Friendly and welcoming staff; I appreciated the helpful advice while making a decision on outdoor brooms and enjoyed shooting the breeze while having keys cut — and, they have an awesome cat named Smudge who hangs out at the registers, eagerly awaiting your loving scratches! Great place to go for your household/hardware needs.

Customer service at the Stanwood Ace Hardware is noteworthy. I was looking for a specific brand of deck stain and although they didn’t carry it, they actually called Sherwin Williams for me to see if they did. I’ve had other, similar experiences there. They truly understand what exceptional customer service means and demonstrate it on a daily basis. They’re fun people too!

One of my favorite stores, all ace hardwares are awsome. Always helpful friendly ppl working there. Always makes me happy and spend more $$$. Very clean and clear of obstacles. A lot of times there prices are the cheapest. Best hardware store hands down.
