Their hours are CONSTANTLY changing. They schedule two one hour breaks and then change it again. Even if you do go during the hours they have taped on the glass they're still not there. Very frustrating, this is almost a daily issue.

Beautiful old post office in a historic building. Downtown parking is usually a headache, so it's not the most convienent location but if you're downtown already I'd highly recommend doing some business here just for the atmosphere and setting.Service on my visit was highly competent and friendly. Finding the entrance was tricky because there wasn't any outside signage that I'm aware of. You can go through the revolving door on the SW corner of the building then take the first right as you step inside. Or, go in the east entrance through a courtyard wedged between this building and the federal courthouse. Really cool area. Stunning early morning light. Epic architecture that shows off a level of grandeur and sophistication not typically associated with downtown Spokane.

Phyllis at the customer service window helped me get a Cashier's check for my first month's rent. She was pleasant, kind, helpful, and welcomed me to town. Thanks, Phyllis!

Came here to mail in a passport for my daughter and they were so nice and easy going. They made the process no big deal and they're close to cafes and sushi so it was no problem to park at metered parking and walk around. It only took us about 20 minutes to do the process. Thank you to the incredible staff!

Very friendly service but difficult to find (entrance is next to Crave on Washington Street) and only takes checks and cash.

It is kind of weird to review a post office, but this one is a unique post office and worth a good review. First, it is a stunning building. It is actually a federal government building that has a few courtrooms and the bankruptcy court upstairs, but the first floor houses the historic post office. There is lovely interior architecture that takes you back in a time. In short: It's classy. Second, it is friendly. I have a post office box here and work nearby, so it is my primary place to deal with the USPS. The people working here are friendly, helpful, and never rude. It can from time to time get a little understaffed, but about 80% of the time there is no wait because this is not a very heavily trafficked location, especially in comparison to others. Finally, the service is smooth and easy. My mail is always in my post office box early (usually before 9am), and they usually leave my packages in the larger bins down the hall. I just take the key left in my box, open the drawer, and there's my package! No waiting, no lines, no hassle! Also, they even sell cards at this location, which has saved me on a few locations. The downsides are limited. One, there is no parking (other than street parking), but that's no issue for me because I am downtown for work anyway. Two, they are not open on Saturdays, but again.. I am not down here then because I don't work Saturdays. For my needs, this is my favorite post office hands down.

The lady who has worked here for as long as I have lived nearby, and gone in here, is absolutely fantastic! She is always so helpful and personable with me, and I will continue to go here for my shipping/postal needs because of her kindness, and her personality! :)

Excellent customer service. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Has the best supply of hard to find size shipping boxes in Spokane. Only Post office I use downtown and I usually ship items every other day.

Good place to go to get in and out fast because the location is hard to find using GPS so other people don't know of it. Lady there is a bit rude but oh well....deal with the spice and get your mail delivered quickly compared to other locations. Also cash or check only!

Lady at the desk is super rude. I came in to return a package, it just needed a new package or some tape across the top and a shipping label. She told me it's not her job to package peoples things for them, so I asked for some tape, she told me a roll of tape is $2.50. Wow, I need like 2 pieces of tape, and I have to buy the roll. I'm already paying for you to ship the thing. Ha. Don't go here. Sum BS
