Beautiful athletic facility with design and function thought throughout. Basketball courts are spacious to make practice and games enjoyable and productive. The workout area is complete with great variety of professional and clean equipment. Great place to get some practice in!

The Education department at Whitworth University has some of the most devoted instructors I've ever met. They have done everything humanly possible to help me succeed. I wouldn't be where I am without them.

I had such a great experience there in the late 80’s. Hoping my kids will be able to attend!

A nice pool. The renovations have made for a more light and open feel. We could not hear the ventilation system, but we knew it was on because the air in the facility was nice- even after hanging around in it for a swim meet. There is an adjustable wall making a 25yd pool with 6 lanes. The deep end can hold a water polo game

Having been a student here for 3 years now going on my 4th year. I thought it it would be a good time for a review. The first thing I have to say is it's not for everyone. If you are looking for a party campus you are not going to find alot here. That being said if you want to go to some parties you can seek them out if you want to. Though the school does have Christian values and I would say is a Christian school it does not try and force it on its students which I appreciate. If you want to seek the Christian religion you can if you don't most people will respect you and treat you the same. No chapel Is required, but there are various Christian events throughout the week. You do have to take one Bible class here if you want to graduate. The teaching is excellent though sometimes you get a bad professor or one that you just don't click with. But I feel like it is that way with most schools. The professors try to make themselves available to you. And genuinely want to help you. They are professors first and not just researchers which means they will actually teach. Never in my classes have I had a TA teach the whole class.Whitworth also has this thing called Jan term where you take 1 class over the month of January. This is a great way to get Gen Eds out of the way. Student life is good. Most RAs are not out to get you in trouble and actually want to have a relationship with you. The University adheres to the Big 3 (which are the main rules) no alcohol or drugs, no cohabitation, and no disturbing the peace. If you follow these rules you should be ok. And if you want to do theese things just do them off campus. The nicer resident halls are Oliver, Duvall, and Boppell. The other ones are older, but still have great communities. Really it is you who can make or break your experience. Finally the campus is most beautiful in early fall and late spring. (When school starts and when school ends) you will see people out and about in the loop, throwing a frisbee. In the winter it gets incredibly cold and snowy. If you don't like snow don' t go here. But the campus does turn into a nice winter wonderland from November to January. Overall this place has great academics and you get out what you put in. Also they tend to give great financial aid packages.

Climbing wall is amazing! So many problems, tip rope and lead climbing, and the most friendly staff who are always willing to help and give pointers.

Beautiful university! I loved the brick buildings, the clean facilities, fresh cut lawns, and baskets of petunias hanging from the lamp posts. This was my first visit to this university and I had a wonderful time. My colleague and I met many staff and faculty members including the President and the Assistant VP for Diversity. Everyone was very nice and took good care us (providing lunch and drink) during our day long visit at Whitworth. We had a wonderful experience. Thank you Whitworth! We cannot wait to come back.
