Sarah helped me find a new foundation; she was very friendly, helpful and informative with products. She didn't mind helping me look at several different options to find a good fit for my needs. Best customer service experience I've had with Ulta!

I had the most wonderful experience; The store was great and looked very cute, everyone in the store is so friendly and willing to help! I'm coming back 100%! I don't have a lot of experience in makeup- I wanted to start, mind you I'm in my 20s and dont know much about it so when I came in the store I was super anxious and scared, unsure if I was gonna "fit in" or look like a sore thumb coming in the store. I came from an abusive home so I wasn't allowed to use makeup when I was younger, when I went into the store I asked questions about shades, what to do, or what I'd need just for starting out so I felt more confident and secure as I learned. I don't remember the name of the woman who helped me unfortunately but she was so very kind, accepting, understanding, very helpful and never once made me feel bad or silly for coming in. I felt less ashamed and afraid to step forward, felt less worried all together about experimenting with makeup too. She was honest and tested shades on me, she helped me pick out some starting products and recommended me some ones to get down the line if I want or feel ready too. I couldnt wait to get home and try them! Leaving that store made me feel like a new person all together— I wanted to cry, as silly as it may sound. I was so afraid I'd look weird or socially awkward being in my 20s and not knowing anything about something so "simple" in societal terms people my age normally are well versed in.. yet I was so accepted and got some answers and tips! I recommend coming in here regardless of your makeup skill or product needs, everyone is so kind and wonderful! Thank you again!!!

Everyone here was so helpful! I needed to exchange a foundation (great product, just started breaking out) and Heidi listened, evaluated, and recommended a new product that I’m so excited try. Best part is I only had to pay $2 because most of it was covered through exchanging the old product.
Super easy process, fantastic customer service all the way through!

Everytime I visit this store I have a wonderful experience. This visit I came in clueless to what I needed. Noah went above and beyond to help. From eyeliner to hair coloring products. They educated me on what product was best and even wrote me down instructions on what other products would help me. Turning a stressful situation into a calm and positive one.Thank you so much again your help was appreciated. It really turned my day around.?

I just have to say this place is so amazing! I'm color blind and transgender so all of the kindness, patience, and care was just beyond appreciated. Both Noah and Shelby were so amazing in helping me find makeup that works with my skin color and helping me find hair care items for my curly hair. I'll definitely come here again ?

Got a 100$ gift card as a gift. They dont carry any of my hair products and so I bought soft curlers and dry shampoo after spending $40 i asked if I could get the remaining amount back in cash as I could not find anything I was interested in.
The cashier said No we dont do that here.
What does that mean?
DO NOT BUY OR GIVE ULTA GIFT CARDS AS THEY DO NOT HONOR THE PURCHASE OF CASH AMOUNT. When you cant use the whole card.
THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL

I went in for a blowout today - not my first time but first time with Sydni- and I left with my hair frizzy and not even blown out properly. She was more concerned about charging me double because she was slow and she kept giving me looks like she didn’t like me. They said I could have a refund but I’m so upset. This was for my birthday party tonight and I am so upset.

I had an AMAZING experience! All the workers were so kind and didn’t make it seem like an imposition to help me out. There was one worker, I never caught her name, but she had blonde curly hair and she was helping me find a perfume scent and helping me with my skincare. She was so so kind and helped me really understand what i was getting and how to help my skin. The best experience I’ve ever hard at an ulta!!

I love trying different brands of fragrances, and I was always able to come in and use the testers at my leisure to find one I like. However, in recent months, they now have locked up not only the fragrances for purchase, but also the tester bottles. I came in last Sunday to try some perfume, and had to walk around the store to find someone to unlock the testers and stand there while I tried them on. Not a pleasant shopping experience. I left the store empty-handed. Do better, North Spokane ULTA. Update: Just left the ULTA store in Missoula, Montana with 2 fragrance purchases. While the fragrances for purchase were locked, the testers were available to use and try on my own. Another win: no sales tax in Montana!

Their return policy is horrible. If you buy a gift for someone, make sure to obtain a gift receipt. For if you don't, they cut the original price back from 100 to 60. This is ridiculous.
