Thrifty and Hertz go together at the Spokane airport and unfortunately, they like to make up charges and fees after you return the car. I have never in 30 years been hit with fees, but that changed with this company. Over $500, most in cleaning fees. Stay away from their low-ball price because they try to make it up later.

The individual at the counter was most helpful. He helped us get a vehicle that our family needed to accommodate 7 people. He also went out of his way to ensure the correct rate for the time we were traveling. Thrifty helped us when none of the other airport car rental desks in Spokane could!
