This is my fourth time staying here. The location is stellar; basically anything in downtown Spokane is within walking distance. The hotel is incredibly quiet, and the rooms are spacious. Working with the front desk is always a very smooth and seamless experience, as is the valet service.

As you enter the hotel, you realize this will be a pleasant experience. The lobby is designed really nicely. The receptionist was extremely friendly. The location is super. There is so much to do and see within walking distance. The hotel lobby, hallways, and rooms were all very clean. The room was very nice as well. The bathroom was really spacious and designed well. The tub was a great size. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Booked the Lusso by mistake on Hotels.com. Meant to book The Grand. tried to change our last nights reservation for the Grand because this was a special weekend for us. Hotels.com was more than willing to accommodate us but the Lusso refused, even though we were still going to be at one of the Davenport enterprises. This room is nothing special. it is very clean. the "Davenport " mattress is probably one that the Grand has deemed needing replaced. The pillows have to be rolled up in order for them to have any functionalpity at all. Front desk staff is very nice. the room is also realatively quiet. However whomever is making reservation/Customer service decisions clearly isn't concerned about whether or not their customers are satisfied with their stay. We were more than willing to pay the higher price for The Grand. We travel a fair amount and have stayed at numerous types of hotels and VRBO's. This hotel is more of an upscale Motel 6. O.K. if you're looking for a deal that's clean but definitely NOT for a special weekend getaway. They should remove the Davenport name from their listing as it gives a false sense of quality

Great! We had a very nice experience at this hotel. Room was great, staff was excellent and the location worked great for us. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go during our stay in Spokane.

Gosh I love nice hotels.Davenport has a stellar reputation in Spokane and for good reason. While part of the Marriott chain, these are all built mostly in or honoring historic buildings of Spokane. They are definitely an “old school classy” with big ornaments and bold decor showcasing the grandeur of the sites. The Lusso was no exception.The lobby was beautiful, staff was incredibly helpful, and my room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My only con is the parking situation - a couple Davenport buildings share a parking structure and it’s a pain with the one way roads. Highly recommend just paying for the valet and avoid dealing with it.Otherwise, I would absolutely stay here again. Great facility and amenities. Very “lux.”

We stayed for 5 nights. The Lusso is located across from the Historic Davenport Hotel. Guests can use the facilities at either hotel (plus at the Davenport Tower which is a block away). The front desk staff was very attentive, friendly and efficient. This is an old building so the rooms are small but had modern amenities. We received free parking due to the length of our stay (typically $25/day). We loved the location and were able to walk to many of the downtown attractions.Rooms: Room was small but clean. The bed was quite soft.Walkability: A short 5-10 minute walk to Riverfront Park. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Disappointing stay. Staff is really great. That said, we had a second story room facing Sprague Ave on a Friday night. Racing cars and people talking outside our room made it difficult to sleep.Possibly the worst bed I’ve slept in. Virtually no support, as you simply sink down into a “bean bag” chair effect. Ironically, the hotel offers your mattress for sale if you like it. Thanks anyway.Again, great staff, but bad location. I won’t stay here again.

Lovely accommodation with excellent front desk service. I have stayed at various hotels in the Davenport collection and have, on previous stays, had a great experience with room service, but something has changed. The martinis we ordered came in plastic Starbucks cups, and the food was served in to-go containers; it was very disappointing. Please do better.

Old building made nice. Nice staff but you have to valet your vehicle for $35, so that’s a minus. Free beer coin and glass of champagne upon checking in.

Front desk staff was always friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. (Especially Mobin?) Same with two of the cleaning staff I ended up talking to. Hotel was very clean and my room and bathroom were very big. Great shower here and also at the Historic Davenport (on an earlier stay).

Got given the runaround trying to use the advertised EV charger during my stay, wound up driving to the supercharger instead of sleeping. You can’t use the nightstand plugs to charge your phone because there is a switch that turns off the plugs that when on turns on a ceiling light. Way overrated hotel.

Love this hotel. There are no real amenities, though. You need to park across the street a d get coffee at Davenport. I don't think you can order room service.

I have yet to experience more rude customer service than at this hotel. When I asked what the persons position was at the hotel they stated they couldn't tell me their title due to security reasons.Definitely more than one affirmative action hire.Definitely not a pleasant experience and definitely not worth your money to deal with such behavior.Entitled manager who feels she is somehow entitled to her behavior.In general terrible booking experience and just not worth it.

Every personal interaction I had with any staff member was absolutely 5 stars. However the hotel is old and uncomfortable. I couldn't get comfortable on the mattress, and the people on the floor above me sounded like they were going to fall through the floor. The doors and walls of my room let every bit of sound through and could plainly hear people talking at the elevator 75-100 feet away and was woken up several times from noise that wasn't necessarily excessive but still clearly carried into my room. Overall I would describe the room as dingy and dark, but the tub was very nice and comfortable.The housekeeping was atrocious at best, and somehow every surface appeared to have been wiped down but was still dirty and gross. The hairs from the previous guest were the final straw on my decision to end my planned 7 night stay after the first night.Not an entirely unpleasant experience but not the usual standard of what I would expect the Mariott Brand and the Autograph series of Hotels to treat an Ambassador guest.If they were to get the housekeeping issues resolved it would be a fun hotel to spend a night or two exploring downtown Spokane but I would suggest you pass if looking for a quiet place to rest and get some work done.
