I've asked several times to stop getting scammy looking junk mail and they refuse to stop. Canopy lets some garbage insurance company send mail that looks like it's from Canopy. STCU has never done something so slimy. These are clearly designed to take advantage of the elderly and others who can't tell what's going on.

Thank you Canopy Credit Union family, for your help and support when I lost my purse! I was totally stressed on that Friday evening. I was welcomed by calm, friendly folks ready to assist and support me, reassuring that I would be able to get another debit card even when I didn't have any identification! The process was safe, secure, easy and fast! Canopy Credit Union feels like family! I look forward to working with you again for my 2nd auto loan. In 3 short months and my car you helped finance will be paid off, earlier then anticipated (18 mon). I cannot wait to be behind the wheel of a Ford F150 Platinum!!

Update: Kurtis reached out to me and was able to restore my credit limit for the heloc. I appreciate him for reaching out to me and helping me during this difficult time.We had joined Canopy after receiving a heloc from them. We thought they were nice and helpful and it came with good perks. I went into preterm labor and lost our twin boys at 22 weeks. My husband hadn’t been working due to medical conditions. I had called Canopy ahead of the due date of the heloc to ask what they can do to help me. Paid Family Medical Leave takes 5 or more weeks before we even get paid (turned out to be 7 weeks for me). I just needed some time and one month of skipping a payment. We were also in the middle of planning their funeral arrangements, that wasn’t cheap either. They told me they couldn’t do anything to help due to the nature of the loan. During the end of that first phone call, I told them I’ll ask my family members to help then. When I called back to let them know I would still be able to make the payments on time, they told me they cancelled my limit. I never missed a payment before and just needed a little time to figure things out. I was so upset. I was still going to be able to make payments on time. But due to me reporting no income, they took away our revolving credit line. I do understand why it had to be done… but I was just so disappointed. I thought credit unions helped people and it did not feel that way. I was already heartbroken from losing our twin boys and it just felt like they kicked me even more when I was already so down. So thank you Canopy for not helping.

I have never been to a financial institution that has treated me with such kindness and respect! They were able to meet my needs and then some! Switched over all my accounts and my car. My family members plan to do the same thing. I finally feel like I have a financial institution that hears me and cares about my needs as a real person ?

I've honestly never had even the slightest issue with Canopy credit union. I'm switching from my current bank account to Canopy where I have a personal loan. I highly recommend them.

Nothing makes me happier when doing business these days than excellent customer service with a kind, helpful, and patient person assisting me in my needs. This is exactly what I encountered with Rachel R. at CCU. She definitely turned my problem of lemons to lemonade. They are lucky to have her. Give that girl a raise! :) :)

My experience with canopy credit union, and lupe, has been a joke. After waiting for two months (in which I was preapproved) I was finally given a sliver of attention from lupe. I had found car after car that met their requirements for me, and my credit score had gone up almost 100 points in these two months, but had zero communication from them. I finally found the car, got the price point exactly to where they wanted it, was paying a large amount more out of pocket than I was expecting and budgeting to do so, to be denied because I planned on registering the car in Oregon, where my family owns a beach house. They then started bringing up the fact that I had moved in the last two months (yes leases end, and I chose to not pay 1.6k a month for a 1 bed 1 bath apartment any further), that I changed jobs (because I was making a more money per hour, on top of getting more hours), which both were not a problem the day before when I hadn’t mentioned that I didn’t plan on registering the car in Washington. In fact I was told that the loan was a go if I got the price down to 110% of the value they gave me (which was extremely low, and didn’t bring into account the car market, nor many features that the car had.) this was two months of my time wasted, and I couldn’t be more frustrated. Not to mention being hung up on while on the phone, because lupe couldn’t admit that she had specifically told me the price point to get the car to, and that she wasted a large portion of my time. Bring your business else where, and save a headache for yourself.
