Always run out of the items that are on sale. Employees are surly. It's worth it to drive 7 minutes longer and go to the Safeway on 57th.

This store had one person working all pickup orders at 5 pm on Monday. After 50 minutes of waiting for tampons and cat treats my wife called the store and was told "everyone else is on break". So my wife asked to be put through to corporate and got our money back. How long are breaks at Safeway? When i worked service industry i was lucky to get a 20 minute break, and definitely not during peak rush hours on a Monday. What a terrible excuse for poor service and making a single employee do all the pickups during possibly the busiest time of the week. Do better Safeway. Until you do, we won't be shop there and we live down the street.

Second time I've been intimidated by the homeless hanging out at the benches outside of this Safeway on 29th- the last time a guy was shooting up with no concern as to who was watching. It seems management doesn't care. I spoke with them twice. This last time a manager couldn't be found, and the staff member said management doesn't care. I have empathy for the homeless, but I also don't want to feel intimidated when I'm going in to spend my hard earned money on groceries. I will be shopping elsewhere at this point.

I had a horrible experience at Safeway and the staff didn't seem to care. The manager was supposed to call me and never did.

I used to go to the Safeway in Cheney Washington. So when I moved to the south hill, I went to the Safeway on 29th Ave. This Safeway is one of the worst for customer service. Most of the checkers are rude. They do not greet you or give any assistance at the checkout stand. I have moved to Super1 on 29th Ave and they are wonderful. Any time that I have returned to Safeway on 29th to pick something up, I run into the same problem with poor customer service. I finally called the manager, John, and let him know. He listened which was nice and I got the impression that he probably wasn't going to do much. Will definitely not go back to this Safeway even to run in for a few items.

A suggestion . . . when a cashier comes up, instead of taking the 3rd person in line over and helping them, they should look to see if the 2nd person has a cane, I get spasms if I stand for any length of time and I certainly would have collected my things and moved over to avoid the further wait I had behind a woman with a full cart!

This is the only store in Spokane I ever have an issue with. I am a senior with terminal cancer, therefore I use SNAP for food assistance. This is the only place where I am ever treated rudely because of it. Yes, I buy marked down meat and other items. Yes, I have coupons from SNAP. The two old rude checkers (why are they even there?) can never get this right. They act as if I'm a second-class citizen because they have to do a little extra work. This visit today, the checker actually KEPT MY SNAP COUPON as if I'm a thief or scammer. I will never step foot in this awful place again. Close the location and make it the new Value Village location. It's not good for anything else.

I don't recommend the deli if you're wanting lunch around rush time. The workers are old and will blatantly ignore you while you stand there for ten minutes wanting JUST A SPOON. UGH. I hate it here. LOL.

Your store is a leader in totally ripping people off. I shopped their today and was stunned at what a ripoff, price gouging ,joke of a store you are. Across the board , hands down you are higher priced than all other stores in Spokane except for Super 1 Foods and they bring a whole new low to scum bag ripoff stores. So feel good your not as low as Super 1Foods. You guys SUCK! And I will be avoiding you like the plague from now on. So I got a computer generated generic response to this review that said hey check out our great savings with a club card. What a joke so they jack the prices up then tell you to use a phony savings card what a bunch of B.S.

The worlds worst pharmacy On 29th and Southeast Blvd. I'm sorry to say this. I watched a young tech, tell a very old woman, too bad you came in, it's not ready. She said, "But you called me and said it was ready!" He said sorry. This poor woman. She probably had to take the bus to come and get it. He was rude, rude, rude. DO NOT USE THEM!

I've been shopping here for years but will not use this store in the future. They have very disappointing CoVid prevention controls. On three recent visits, I noticed numerous staff and customers with no mask or it was hanging below their nose. I talked to management but they aren't apparently serious about the issue.

So I would just like to say I went into Safeway to get some groceries. And when I went in I asked if the gift card I had on my phone would work. And the man looked at me like I was stupid and said yes. I then got everything I needed and when I went to check out the lady said oh no we can't do that. And I told her the man told me I could and she said you're supposed to print it out. But when I tried to print it out it wouldn't let me. So it was just a awkward environment and they were very rude
