I was surprised at the level of qualtiy I was getting for the price. It was very clean and the room was excellent. The location was convenient. I prefered to walk from my room to a nearby bar instead of driving. I would stay there again and recommend the hotel to others.

Best customer service I've received at a hotel yet! Initially, we had booked their other hotel but drove to the wrong one. They were able to cancel our other reservation and get us a room there at an even better rate! Staff was wonderful! We also received vouchers for complimentary drinks and snacks in their bistro and breakfast which had so many choices! There was a pool, hot tub, and sauna!Enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again!

We stayed here when we were in town to see a show at the First Interstate Center for the Arts. The room was great including the bar, restaurant and breakfast area and it was an easy walk across the park to see the play we came for.Walkability: Easy walk to the center for the arts.

Rooms were immaculate. Breakfast great. How about bringing back the juice machine so there is more than lemonade for juice selection.

I'm not a downtown kinda person, location might be higher objectively but this is a subjective rating. The wired network in the room didn't work. I expected much different service for what I paid for two nights. Breakfast, though, was much better than the standard Continental.

Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Wheelchair accessible. Coffee in rooms. Nice light dinner and filling breakfast available. Only negative is children running up and down halls well into night hours.

The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to meet your needs and the rooms are very clean. However, with Spokane in general having more of a problem with homelessness we did not necessarily feel safe going out to late after dark as the hotel is located near a GoodWill where a lot of homeless people camp out and use drugs.

Definitely will be going back! One of the best hotels we stayed at close to downtown. Very affordable for such a breathtaking view. No complaints. Highly recommend the king suite.Rooms: The king suite was AMAZING!!! We had a beautiful view of the river and downtown. It was very spacious with great amenities.Safety: It was very safe and always someone at the front desk.Walkability: We walked downtown in less than 10minutes. Plus the beautiful Spokane River and Riverfront Park were just right there.Food & drinks: The free breakfast was the best I ever had!!! It was so delicious and lots of variety. The bar had killer mix drinks.Noteworthy details: The staff was very friendly and sweet every we went, from front desk to bar to hallway. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were the cherry on top!

Before I say what went wrong, I will say that the staff we dealt with were excellent, efficient and quickly helped us. We greatly appreciate that and would recommend this hotel just based on their actions. This is a pet friendly hotel, which is awesome, we've traveled with animals before and it's difficult to find a nice place to stay with them. The problem we had was upon opening the hotel room door. I immediately smelled an odor of animal urine. Male cat urine. I opened the bathroom door and it was so strong, I shut the door and we called the front desk. The manager immediately grabbed someone from housekeeping and was at our door as we walked out. They put us in another room and apologized profusely. My reason for mentioning this, even though they were quick to move us, is that the housekeeping was not up to par. There is no way that someone didn't smell that urine. In fact, they used something with a strong scent to try and cover the smell. It was all so overpowering, it was gross. There is just no excuse for this happening.Noteworthy details: Pet friendlyWonderful river view rooms

Oxford Suites on the river is one of our favorite places to stay. We have made it a point to stay here on our trips to and from the midwest. Great staff. Great rooms. Super location.

I've been twice now, visiting for a medical procedure. The staff are some of the most pleasant people I've seen in hotels, and that's from someone who has stayed in places across the country! Room was immaculate, grounds are nice and the river walk is right there!

My pet room was clean with no bad smells plus the overall hotel was clean. The pet policy is on the other hand is unbelievable and the Oxford isn't a pet friendly hotel no matter what the other reviewers are saying. What hotel charges you $35 extra for your pet, but you can't leave you pet in your room without you. Did I mention your pet can't go to the on-site Bistro either. So tell me what do you do if you and your dog are traveling alone? They told me to find a daycare or boarding place they were all around. Excuse me but that's why I'm paying a pet rate here at a pet friendly hotel. My dog has anxiety and doesn't do well in boarding places. I stay at pet friendly hotels all the time and have never had this experience. Online when you book your room it doesn't inform the customer they will have to use a doggie daycare in the neighborhood if you want to go out for drinks or even go to their onsite Bistro for breakfast. This is something I would have liked to know before I drive 5+ hrs and check in, because I would have stayed elsewhere. You can't take your pet into bars or grocery stores, and its to damn hot to leave your pet in the car in Spokane in August. Please I advise you pick an actual pet friendly hotel not at the Oxford that gives a pet friendly illusion online.Rooms: Pet friendly rooms don't allow your dog to stay without a human present at all times.
