First time visiting this store and it will be the last. Felt like Julia Robert's in Pretty woman. No acknowledgement from any staff and upon leaving I said "Thank you" and the two employees just glared at me. Lost a customer with money to spend!

Visited to get Brighton bag cleaned/ repaired. Ended up purchasing scented melts (yummy and clean scent), seasoning and other stuff. Fun, female oriented style. Love it! ❤️

FABULOUS home decor and clothing boutique‼The staff is so responsive and eager to help. I basically lose my mind as I enter their front doors, so much incredible merchandise to absorb. I make sure to carve out enough time to cruise through the boutique and take everything in. Lots and lots of design inspiration as well!!

I was excited to check out the additional space recently added and it did not disappoint. The new room allowed Mel's to expand their Christmas decor offerings - which was always a highpoint. Had outstanding customer service and really appreciated how Claire helped me find just the right special gift for friends. I can always count on Mel's for that unique, special gift!

I went in to shop for Brighton charms. I caught the eye of a couple of helpers but they totally ignored me. This is not a first for this store. In reading reviews from others, I realized that I’m not alone in my feelings. I waited, and waited. No help… not even a welcome and can I help you. I will not go back to this store. It’s sad how people are treated.

I have never written a bad review for a business before but the people who manage or work here are appallingly rude. I just wanted to purchase some particular items for my daughter for her birthday and they were beyond rude! I’ve recommended people to go there and have made many purchases from them but never again. I will tell them all not to go and will be reporting this business and sharing to all I know and sharing on social media about how rude they were! I’ve never had this happen to me anywhere before EVER and I’ve given them plenty of good business but never again. Terrible and super messed up customer service. I recommend do NOT shop here! Plenty of other local businesses that are kind and appreciate good customers to spend lots of money at and support!

A friend of mine loves this store. I enjoyed browsing through it in November 2019 when I was last in Spokane. Recently, I wanted to send my friend a gift from this store since I am not able to visit her from Seattle due to the pandemic. (She lives by herself.). I contacted the store through this page asking if they could deliver to her, just 1.6 miles away. I already had 2 things in mind from their Facebook posts. It was so disappointing to be told no, they couldn’t do that when there were two reviews on google showing that they did. I was really surprising especially during a time when small businesses are really struggling.

I used to buy a few clothing items, boots, jewelry. But when I went in there yesterday I couldn’t afford a thing. Found a sweater I liked that was 60% off. Tried it on. Thought it was $81 but looked again & $181. I’m sorry but I can’t afford even 60% off that. ? I would have bought. I decided I can’t afford Mel’s. Been going there for years.
