They're great! Highly suggest them. Updating, I brought my car here again and they were very honest and helpful with me. I was not trusting of a previous place and they confirmed that stuff wasn't needed which helped me save over a thousand in repairs. I'm so grateful for this place, they are kind and professional and very trustworthy

Called to compare quotes for a blown head gasket that I got from Bob’s. Spoke with Austin who was really helpful and understanding and gave me a great second opinion. Affirmed that the quote was from his competitor was fair. Honest, cool guy.

I love working with mechanics pride! First time was for a complete engine overhaul after being quoted twice as much at a different place and the owner Mike was able to find and warranty a used engine for a much more affordable price. They also took care of the front right CV axle which needed to be replaced. CV axle was a bad part and blew within the first day and I was able to get towed and a new CV axle no additional cost. Mike is also an extremely hands on owner overseeing every aspect of car cares within his service department. I plan on continuing to use mechanics pride for my future automotive maintenance and repair needs.Services: Engine repair

Have had to bring my old ford explorer in multiple times and these guys are some of the most empathetic, understanding mechanics I’ve met. I’ve brought my girl into other shops before and they’ve never compared to mechanics pride. Thank you to Austin and Mike especially!!! They keep my car going strong ??

I spent $900 for a new radiator and hoses and the mechanic did not tighten one of the clamps and I was loosing antifreeze. When I called to tell them what was going on they said it must be something else.

If I could give them less I would. All mechanics pride are scum bags. I have had several bad incidents with them. At first my husband and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but after so many incidents I felt it was time to leave a review so I can possibly save someone else from going through what we have.First incident. We had a belt changed by the South-hill location and they put it on wrong. So my car completely shredded the belt causing us to get stuck on the side of the road and had to be towed. But we just assumed maybe it was just a mistake, accidents happen and just rubbed it off. 2nd incident: We brought our truck in to the downtown location to have a look over and they said they wanted to charge us for a battery clean. I said that is really funny because I just had it cleaned.( It was cleaned a week prior and we knew there was nothing on it). He said that "he was just the phone guy. He was only relaying the message and sometimes their mechanics get it wrong". Which was really suspicious to us. So we passed on all the work and left with our truck and of corse it was fine. 3rd incident. This was the worst of all. I took my truck into the South-hill location to have it looked at because it was making a clucking noise when we turned. I had to keep calling and checking on them to see what was happening, they kept telling me they would get back to me. They finally got back to us several days later and said that "we needed a new rack and pinion + bearings and that it would be roughly about $2k but that was it". I said fine do it( we desperately needed our car back). But then once I said to do it he said "actually that what his mechanic recommended didn't make any sense and that he is going to have it relooked at and get back to me". They got back to me later that day and said "that originally they thought that it was just the rack and pinion + the bearing which still need to be done but also wanted to replace my tire rods and that I needed a new differential. Which would be another $2500 so I am looking at closer to 5k with tax and labor". They also said my 4wheel drive doesn't working( I had just used it when I brought it in because it was snowing. So I knew it was working just fine). So I told them I would get back to them. I immediately drove down there to get my truck back and when I asked for the keys everyone behind the desk got silent and looked extremely nervous. I drove it to another mechanic and had it looked at. They said it was just a loose bolt and all they had to do was tighten it and my truck was ready to go. It cost me $80.00. I used my 4wheel drive all winter and have had no problem since. It has been several months. This is just a handful of problems I have had with them. I know you are probably thinking why did we use them so many times but they had free estimate, and are on the cheaper side to work with. I also again wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because I never thought someone would rip us off so severally. Please think twice about working with mechanics pride. They ripped us off and I am sure they have ripped off many others. I hope this saves someone else the mistake of giving them business.
