Have been going to ITAH since moving here ten years ago. Have always been happy with the care and concern given to us for every appointment, routine or otherwise. Recently we had to say goodbye to our dear dog and the entire staff was so amazing and caring. Today we received a "handwritten" .... get that "handwritten" note from Dr. Kaylor. It meant more than words can say. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

In short- Amazing staff, clean; knowledgeable and they have the ability to do most tests and scans there. They are compassionate and take care to make the experience as easy as they can. Special attention for a fear-free experience. Multiple ways to contact them and a responsive staff makes it the best vet clinic I have ever been to.For a longer indepth review see below-We moved to the Indian trail area 3 years ago, at the height of the pandemic I called them about a nasty looking bump on my beloved cat Ninjas rear. They were from day one amazing to work with as I was not an existing customer they still worked me in and for the follow up surgery to handle the impacted gland. They followed up and I started bringing my other cats in.Its been three years and they have seen all of my cats for everything from standard wellness checks to helping when we adopted two rescue cats who had severe fear and anxiety. As a cat owner I can tell you its sometimes difficult to find a clinic that have vets really attuned to cats. Indian trail has an entire staff who have been so wonderful and loving.Dr Skinner, Dr Davis have been amazing and Dr Smith has such an amazing knowledge of medications and options especially for anxious cats. The techs all of which handle my cats with love even when they were less than easy to handle. They keep an arsenal of treats to help calm and distract.I feel it's also very important to mention they also allow you to leave messages or set up appointments by text. This is a godsend for those of us who work full time and can't always pick up a return call. Their system let's you look at history online and manage through the pharmacy. They really are worth every penny for the care, the time, the attention they give.

Excellent care here. They saved my dog's life. Got him in fast and an emergency surgery. We are happy to have more time with our little guy!

My 4, (now 3) fur babies received their veterinary health care here at ITAH, Spokane, WA for approx 3.5 years. In September 2022, My 14 year old dog suddenly developed micro seizure type behaviors. I called the clinic to get an urgent appoinment. I sent two videos of the dog twitching and they said the clinic "has no appointments for 2 weeks" and referred us to the emergency clinic. ITAH staff said adamantly they have "no appointments for 2 weeks" EVEN after the emergency clinic visit. The clinic staff offered absolutely no options for follow-up care with our family vet even after my impassioned pleas. After the emergency referral and that clinic visit, no one from the ITAH clinic even called to check on the dog's status. Sadly, after watching him suffer for a few days, he died subsequent to experiencing a full body seizure. Why can't an established very sick client that is referred for emergency care to an emergency care clinic, (and seen in the referred emergency clinic) get an appointment within an acceptable amount of time instead of being made to wait 2 full weeks for follow- up care? It's hard to believe that policy meets the Veterinary Standard of Practice. This isn't a review of care provided by the staff, our particular vet provides excellent care. This is the frustration of not being able to obtain a post-emergency evaluated sick dog; an appointment for 2 weeks so he is seen for prompt followup care with the family vet who's familiar with his health status. Is it all about money? Because it certainly doesn't seem like client-focused, quality, caring, and compassionate customer service. My dog suffered needlessly due to inappropriate care and inaccessible follow up.I'm writing this review now, because it's taken me this long to cope with his inexcusable suffering and sudden passing even after seeking urgent and emergent medical treatment.

We absolutely love these wonderful people!! More importantly our pets love them too. Each staff member we’ve encountered makes our dogs feel as comfortable as they possibly could while at the vet. Mary Jane is our go to veterinarian and she is so kind and gentle with our fur babies. She makes us feel a lot better about procedures and solutions because it’s obvious that she cares about our dogs. Thank you all for all that you do!!! ❤️

I am always impressed with the level of service and care they put in caring for my animals. I have 2 cats ages 10 and 11 and they have been taking care of them since they were kittens. They strive to make sure they meet each of my cats where they are far as their comfort level and their personality. Indian trail focuses on being a no fear facility which means they go through great lengths to make sure the animals experience is a positive experience. I also love how they take so much time before and after each procedure to go over pictures, results etc and they always call to see how my cat is doing the day after. A lot of times, it’s the doctor who calls to follow up. I always leave the please feeling like “I really need to put in a good word for this place. They really deserve it.” So now I am ?

Consistent, high quality care for your pets. It’s expensive but worth it if you care about your pets health and want qualified professionals looking after your creatures. Shelby is the best btw.

About 2yrs ago, a staff member from this clinic drove her vehicle into our neighborhood. She approached our neighbors fence, unlocked the gate, then took his dog and placed it in her blue Volvo SUV. His daughter witnessed the entire event and provided great detail of the lady and vehicle. After making posts on Facebook, the lady came forward and claimed she found him on the corner of Indian trail and Barnes asking to pick him up at ITAH. She admitted to being in our neighborhood, but suggested she was playing "Pokemon go". Will never go to this facility or recommend it. Sucks that her twins go to the same elementary school as our kids.

Exceptional care at ITAH!!! We saw Dr Davis today and have to say, I am so impressed with her. She did a very thorough exam, identified the problem, answered all my questions and offered a solution.Top notch Vet! I so appreciated her kindness and thoroughness.

I was faced with a tragic event that needed to be handled immediately and no other vet could take me in. Assistant Amy got word from another clinic of my situation and really bent over backwards to do her best to accommodate me. She then persuaded veterinarian Mary to just take a few minutes before her scheduled surgery to help me out and she did. Who could ask for anything better than the care and dedication of these two, and the entire staff overall.Thank you so much for everything.

These folks are hands down the best in town! And honestly? Their prices are very reasonable. Our senior dog (before she passed) had surgery here. All of our cats and dogs are taken care of by their veterinarians. They are ALL good. Love Dr. Seataller.

I have not taken any of my animals to this vet clinic, however when I called to see if I could get my cat in, who needs hip surgery because he was crushed, I was horribly treated by the lady that answered the phone. I think her name was Michelle. I’m trying to explain what my cat was needing and she interrupted me to ask me if my cat was dead, which to me is very rude and inconsiderate. I was already in a distressed and traumatic frame of mind and this sent me over the edge. I cried the rest of the day. First of all, I wouldn’t be calling about a surgery for a dead cat. Second, I feel those in this profession should understand the people calling are concerned and worried about their beloved fur babies and need a bit of compassion. By the way, my cat still needs surgery. So thank you Michelle and Indian Trails for all the added trauma to my week.
