This store literally has the worst customer service I have experienced. Please take my advice and do not purchase anything from them. Go literally anywhere else. They have cost me tons of time and caused massive frustration. Avoid at all costs.

There is a reason for all of these bad reviews. I wish I would have seen them before I purchased my washer and dryer. Unfortunately I didn't. The delivery team dropped, yes dropped my washing machine. I didn't realize it at the time, but a part broke off. Fast forward a day later and I contact them because my washing machine doesn't seem to be spinning properly. It takes awhile to get someone out to take a look at the washer. He said that a part has broken off and he will order a replacement and install it when it comes in. Three weeks later he wants to install the new part. They are also going to switch the places of the washer and dryer because the were set up wrong. When they move out the washer there is water underneath the machine. At this point I ask for a new washer because I am concerned about what other damage there is to this washer that was dropped. Their answer to me is no. The reason being because it has been sitting in my house for two months. Well it has been sitting in my house waiting for them to get a part. Oh, and I should not have kept it after they dropped it. My bad. Apparently I should have refused to keep it and sent it back to a company that they hired to make the delivery. Terrible customer service and I feel taken advantage of. I don't want to give one star.

We've made several purchases from Fred's Appliance. Our last purchase was a big freezer. It was delivered fast with courteous delivery personnel. They are easy to work with, competitive prices and excellent with service calls. They even helped find documents of our purchases that were lost in the Oregon Rd Fire. Fred's is our go to appliance store. Thanks Fred's!

Devin at the Monroe St store was very patient, knowledgeable and understanding in my washer purchase. If I ever need a dryer, I'll definitely call him for great service.

Poor communications. Didn't tell us they moved our repair three weeks out. Three months waiting for repairs is tough for major appliances bought from their store. Time to find a reliable repair shop.

We purchased an Electrolux washing machine and dryer from Fred’s in December. From the first time we used the washing machine it has not worked properly. We were sold a lemon. It shakes a ton, so much so that it can move itself nearly a foot forward while washing. We called Fred’s service and they came out and were unable to locate the problem, but they ordered a new motherboard for the machine to see if that helped. We waited a couple weeks and they came to install it. The wrong part had been ordered and this service left our washer full of wet towels and completely unusable. They returned a couple days later to install a third motherboard. However it did not fix the washer. We called again and they sent someone a fourth time and still have not figured out the problem but are now ordering another motherboard to see if that might help. Honestly this is ridiculous. It’s time to just replace the machine that Fred’s sold us, as it is clearly defective from the start. Fred’s and Electrolux are continuing to waste our time and money at this point. The issue has yet to be resolved. We have had a couple helpful people along the way and a couple very rude and condescending ones as well. Fred’s has lost our future business and our recommendations which is sad since we we have been loyal customers for years.

Where do I even begin… We are remodeling our kitchen and worked from 100miles away to purchase every last one of our kitchen appliances through Fred’s appliance. They were fantastic to work with and made it the easiest part of our renovation. When we went inside the store to sign papers our suburban wouldn’t start (wouldn’t even jumpstart) as we tried to leave. Envision six, hungry kids and two adults with a packed car as we were trying to head out for a weekend vacation. We ran across the street to two auto service places with no one willing to cross the street to assist us. Every towing service was a two hour wait and the dealership to help us out would be closed by the time we arrived. After our infant fell and earned herself a goose egg and three kids were in tears with worry… we went back into Fred’s to let the kids stretch their legs when the manager suggested we unhook the battery and see if that did the trick. Ben grabbed the their tool kit and all hands were on deck. Within a minute that did the trick and our new suburban was running again. The employees willing to offer help in any form separates them from every other business around. I cannot express how appreciative we are! Thank you to Ben, Steve, and everyone else (who I did not catch their names).

Purchased a GE induction range that started overheating less than 2 years after purchase. Fortunately, we purchased an extended warranty. Unfortunately, it took 3 weeks for the GE parts to arrive, and now we're waiting another week for repair - 4 weeks without the use of our cooktop.
