Much like other reviews everything was great at first on setup. Waited 13 weeks for glass on order which is the norm right now is my understanding. Rescheduled twice the same morning then showed up 45 minutes late from the time given. Installers were dressed like they came from hanging out st their friends house (as a contractor I wouldn't wear skate shoes to a job site). Here's where the fun begins, while the install looks decent at glance, we had to pick up nails off the floor that we periodically found that they missed which sucks but hey it happens, it wasn't that many. After they leave I take a closer look at the invoice and notice it was a $1000 labor charge for a 90 minute install. You could claim it was two people working but one of the guys was obviously new at this situation and had to be walked through what to do on several points of the install. While I agreed to the price I didnt expect over half the invoice to be labor for 1.5 people for 1.5 hours. I inspected the framing further to find they used drywall screws!?!?. There are specific plastic composite and vinyl composite screws that are meant to be used for installations, it's a joke to pay 1k in labor and they aren't even using the right screws or even screwing them in all the way, because that's right, drywall screws separate wood when tightened down or are over tightened. So when I see that my total bill was nearly $1800 I assume there's a good markup on the glass of usually 30-50% so I paid $1800 for 400 bucks in vinyl window likely that will probably start shifting within 2 years from a poorly rushed install. My bad for not believing everything I read online and thinking a few bad installs don't define a company. Oh and were still waiting for the screens that didn't come at the time of installation.Long story short, grossly over priced for mediocre/poor installation.

This is a small business with a big heart, they come through when others don't. I have great respect for the work they do, and I highly recommend this company.

Left broke glass all over from replacing a window in my studio. Not only that, they moved my rug so it was covering tons of glass. Huge safety hazard considering the room they replaced the window for is a massage studio. Lots of barefoot people. Have more consideration for your clients safety and clean up.

Years ago they took a sheet of our glass when we had some patio windows redone. I don't know why they took it, it was mine. I called and they said they had it at the shop in storage. I have called multiple times to get it, and Colleen was very rude, basically saying "We will find it when we find it". She said they would call when they did. That was over 3 years ago. Needless to say, when our new home is built, we won't be calling Empire...:(

We had a cracked window in the kitchen and had Empire come out to replace it. They actually broke out the window inside and outside of the house. I thought they must have a really good shop vac to suck up all the glass. After they left I ran my roomba vacuum and then went to wipe down the window seal and put everything back into place. On my way to the kitchen I noticed a piece of glass that was across the room from the window that the room a had missed. I got a paper towel to wipe the seal and then I noticed glass everywhere. In the window frame on the island and throw rugs by the dog door and back door. I vacuumed but some very tiny thin slices weren't coming out. If you look at the picture of the glass on the table you can see one of those glass flakes that are really hard to pick up. My husband took the rugs outside away from the house and beat them while wearing safety glasses and there was still a few fine shards I had to pick out by hand. Then he went outside and found a handful of glass on the ground below the window. I have grandchildren toddling around and this really sucks. I've had a window replaced before and it was nothing like this. I paid $453 for the replacement which included $140 labor. I spent a lot longer trying to clean their mess than they did making it. Don't waste your money on this place!!! Horrible service with the exception of the girl I spoke to scheduling the appointment.

Excellent prices for any glass projects. They are great to work with and they know the materials to sell you the right solution. They don't try to upsell just to invoice. I strongly recommend this spot

This outfit is such a TERRIBLE EYESORE for our city, and it's right on a major street. Ownership clearly has zero pride in their company or our community. Support companies that make Spokane a better place! Clean up your mess, Empire! You're an embarrassment!

Left broken glass in my van, a spray paint cap, a work shirt, and my window was leaking... plus, I had to being my own seals...(but to be fair it's a 74van), took them 6hrs! I did call them back and they resealed it.

They’re very friendly - that’s the good news. In fact, we decided to take our car here because they were very nice on the phone and a little bit less expensive than other glass shops in town. But the first time they installed our windshield they didn’t use enough glue to set the front windshield and there was a whistling sound coming through the window every time I went faster than 25 mph. The installer also somehow managed to get their black-tar glue all over the interior of our car. They didn’t actually clean the tar, I asked them for wipes to clean the car and eventually they helped me clean it in their parking lot. I had to come back for them to reset the glass which took several hours and ultimately was a net loss of time/money. I ended up taking another vehicle to Safelite in downtown Spokane and although they are a little more expensive it was totally worth it. Bottom line: if you’re making your decision based on price just remember that you get what you pay for.
