DON'T PAY THE $25 FOR PARKING, first of all. If you're not a guest you can park in that garage for $10 a day. Even if you paid for 2 days, it's still cheaper than what they charge you as a guest! When you check in you have to unload your luggage and take it up to your room and then go back down to your car and park your car in the parking garage around the corner and then take the long walk through the back entry of the hotel back to the elevators and up to your room. I wasn't lucky enough to snag a luggage cart, either. First impression? BROWN. Not fancy. Unimpressive decor. No free breakfast. For the price and quality of the hotel and room, you're better off staying at Best Western across the street. Almost the same exact breakfast buffet, only Best Western is free, and DoubleTree wants to charge you $22. Got to my room and there was one single towel in the bathroom. No extra toiletries except a bar of soap. No shower cap or makeup wipe etc. with the price of the room plus their B.S. parking fee, you're better off getting a room at the Davenport or Best Western. This isn't worth $192 + $25.

Nice hotel but a few odd experiencesMy tub drain wasn't draining properly. I told the front desk attendant and they sent someone up. I'm not sure if there was some miscommunication but it seems like they looked at my toilet instead of my drain because when I came back my toilet seat was up and my drain still was not functioning properly. The first day I took a shower and I tended to take very hot showers, my fire alarm went off I guess because of the steam. The room was clean. Housekeeping seemed to do a good job.Unfortunately on check out day housekeeping was a bit rude to my friends banging on her door asking when she was leaving- Mind you this was well before check out and she had hrr do not disturb sign up.The gym area is good but needs better air conditioning considering it's a workout space.Location was very convenient

Rooms were clean & included a mini fridge. No microwaves. The shower had good pressure but did not drain well. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, & lotion included in large bottles in the bathroom as well as a hair dryer. Bed was very comfortable or I was very tired.Friendly service in the lobby. Easy check-in. No shuttles are provided by the hotel for anything. Disappointed in that. There are plenty of places within walking distance but you'll need ride services for the airport, casino, etc. Short walk to several restaurants, mall, the riverfront, & falls.Disappointed in dining options as well within the hotel. Breakfast buffet $22 but left a lot to be desired. Better options outside of the hotel. Did not bother with the lunch. There is a Starbucks open limited hours. No blended drinks. The Steakhouse was also mediocre. I tried it twice and was not impressed either time. The pool was closed for October visit. The hot tub was open & is spacious. Towels provided.Connected directly to the Spokane Convention Center. Easy access from street or third floor.

I had a King room on my reservation. Upon checking in, they asked if I would like a grade for not too much of a price difference. So I took the upgrade to the presidential suite, a very spacious room with lots of amenities; it was a nice upgrade and a good choice since I had some meetings and did have to get a conference room. The suite had a conference table in it. The staff was helpful and friendly, and their stay was great. I will come back again. Thank youWalkability: Convention center is right next door

We had a two night stay to attend a concert at the Spokane Amphitheater and this hotel was a perfect location. Check in was easy and cookies were delish as always! We had an issue with our room that maintenance tried to resolve and when they couldn’t, Dylan sprung in to action and was adamant he find a way to resolve for us. We were impressed by his dedication, he went above and beyond what we ever would have expected, thank you Dylan! The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but I believe the pricing reflects this and it was expected when booking. The pool was fantastic and common areas were nice and clean. The service and location are top notch, so I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

Aside from a higher than ideal comfortable temperature during an excessive heat warning (HVAC systems can only operate to capacity you know) the ADA suite felt safe, comfortable, and quite usable with our mobility issues. They were the only place of accommodation in the area with an ADA accessible suite that was available at the time I made the reservation. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of extra pillows, and although I forgot an item in my room, housekeeping went above and beyond to get it returned, instead of some places where we've stayed where things just disappear without a trace. The on-site restaurant (Spencer's was reviewed separately but it's absolutely a part of our stay) even allowed us to use real plates and flatware, accommodated my Service Dog by bringing in a saucer for her to eat from which we washed before housekeeping returned the tableware to the restaurant, and even shared a pint of some phenomenal Huckleberry Ice cream they must have made by hand that day. Our Pork Chops were perfection. The staff was almost unbelievable in the level of accommodation they chose to provide. Given the opportunity, were would absolutely love to be their guest again.- Freak ShowRooms: The ADA suites are an ideal size and the accessibility of the amenities is top shelf.Food & drinks: Spencer's chef's preparation of our Pork Chops was out of this world. I requested that the chef find the ideal balance between food safety and flavor, and I was blown away by the skill the chef used to prepare our meal.Noteworthy details: Right next to the convention center, cheap abundant self parking ($25/night), the staff run an amazing accommodation center at this location.

My friend and I were in town for business. Lovely room. Comfortable beds and beautiful furniture. The shower was so wonderful that I wish I could have taken it home with me. I love the added shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Very nice smell and definitely good products. I wish there was just one more little lotion bottle. ? Overall it was a very nice stay.

Rooms were nice for a 90s or early 2000s standard. We used to come here as kids during that time. However, the hotels rooms, cleanliness, design, and especially the bathrooms seem to have lost their edge compared to modern hotels. The location is completely ideal for those looking to spend time downtown, near the river, parks, and malls. The front desk is friendly, and the cookies they give out are great. Overall, I say 3 or 4 out of 5. Could definitely be a 5 with the right choices made by management or owners.

I traveled with a couple of friends for a concert. I checked in via my phone, which made the process so much easier and faster. There are two restaurants on site, a high-end steakhouse and a standard restaurant with american food.I did have a couple of small concerns throughout my stay. There wasn't a clear space for handicapped parking, but there were a lot of "reserved" spots. It was only after I explained that I had a disability that I was allowed to park there.Another thing I noticed is that lots of people come and go without ever being addressed. There's a desk right by the main entrance but I never saw anyone there. The last thing was that when I went to take a shower, the floor was so slick I was scared I was going to fall.Otherwise, it was a beautiful hotel and we were happy with our stay.Walkability: The hotel is right in the middle of downtown, and everything is within just a few blocks

It is a bit shabby and dated looking. The crown moulding in the rooms is dirty. Look at the lower part inside the elevator doors, they haven't been cleaned or polished in years. Just a slow accumulation of crud in places that housekeeping doesn't have on its list. The foam alcohol dispensers in the foyer areas are there, but empty. The hotel needs a tiger-team type of cleaning. The breakfast buffet is super-expensive $22 for a mediocre assortment of foods.

Overall a great and comfortable stay. The conference attendees like myself were taken great care of. The landscape out front was cool looking and has a veggie raised plant and cool water fixture. My room faced the riverside park and had a great view to take scenic pictures.Rooms: Make sure you close your bathroom while showering. The steam sounds the fire alarm. Believe me I experienced this! Fire alarms work!Nearby activities: Lots of scenic viewsSafety: Seemed to be well-managed since it wasn't the greatest part of the area. I didn't see any loitering.Walkability: Lots of areas to walkFood & drinks: It was good.

Surprised by all the good reviews, this place is VERY outdated. The hotel needs a renovation but seem to be content overcharging guests due to their location for rooms you’d see from the 1990’s. Not the employees fault, they clearly have a owner who doesn’t want to spend the money to update their hotel. It’s gross.

Stayed here last year almost to the day, pool was down for the entire week of our stay. Just checked in this evening pool is down again. I sure hope it is remedied soon so it doesn't ruin our week again.
