I have been going back and forth with the service department for four months. They misdiagnosed my car twice, I had to take it to a different mechanic who diagnosed the issue in 5 minutes. It was a software issue that I had to take it back to Becker to update it. They wanted to charge me $1,600 for a new catalytic converter on a car that has less than 80k miles. Don't waste your money or time go elsewhere.

I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and brakes as I explained when I made the appointment that my steering wheel was shaking when braking and i wanted it fixed. After the appointment that took 2.5 hours I was told they completed the oil change and a visual brake inspection because that was all they had time for. I'm not sure what they did for 2.5 hours. Very dissatisfied and will now will take my vehicle somewhere else that has time for me even though I had a scheduled appointment.

I gave low scores because your service department insists that our diesel truck needs to have the oil change every 3,000 miles or 3 months. According to our forever warranty it's ever 10,000 miles. The service department acted like they knew nothing about this and that this hasn't been brought up before (it has because my parents brought this up on their diesel truck). The fact that we had to argue about what the warranty says and then be told that we have to call the warranty people is quite irritating. The forever warranty is not a new thing to your business. Our oil percentage is at 75% the last 2 times we have gone in accordance with the 3,000 miles, of course they said as long as we were within our warranty miles stated on our paperwork it we should still be covered (i had our paperwork to show what it said). This "not knowing" seems to be a way to make more money off your customer and a way to void our warranty if it is ever needed.

They helped us find a Denali SUV, which are hard to get at the moment. Got all the details worked out so that when we came in to take delivery the SUV the process was streamlined. We have bought our last 3 vehicles from Becker. The experience was the same with each purchase. As it should be.

Truck was delivered without the park assist computer chip. It took it took 17 months for it to come in but that is no reflection on Becker Buick. Supply chain issues. While I was in for service I had mentioned that the battery would drain after sitting idle for a week or so. They diagnosed a dead cell in the battery and replaced the battery. Always happy with the service I get at Becker Buick..

The entire staff, especially our salesman Mickey, went above and beyond to make this purchase a breeze.Mickey's knowledge of the GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation was impressive. He patiently answered all of our questions and provided valuable insights into the vehicle's features, performance, and options. This level of expertise made us feel confident in our decision.What really stood out was the speed and efficiency of the entire buying process. The incident in question prompting this review occurred in December of 2020 and involved my 2009 Pontiac Torrent. The issue ultimately proved to be head gasket failure/cracking which resulted in estimated repairs north of $2,000, though I was able to find a qualified shop to handle the repair for around $1,860, if memory serves me well.My longtime mechanic, who unfortunately was not available to look at the car during December as he was booked out, absolutely insisted I write this review back in 2020 since he was disgusted and livid at Becker's inability to diagnose the issue correctly the first time, leading me to drive it home after the first repair & inspection, only to have to bring it back for a more thorough diagnostic as it OVERHEATED shortly after leaving their shop.The reason for two stars rather than one is I share some unintentional culpability in the matter. Specifically, when I dropped the Pontiac off the first time, or when I was on the phone with Becker initially, I communicated to them I had discussed the issue with my primary mechanic and he suspected (without having a chance to look at it in person) it was a thermostat issue (as opposed to a full blown head gasket failure). Thus, Becker focused on replacing the thermostat and doing some other basic service. However, irrespective of what I communicated, Becker had both the expertise, as certified master GM mechanics/technicians, and the obligation to properly diagnose the issue before the repair was done AND verify the repair remedied the original issue (I did explain to them it was overheating and gave them other related details). It would have been highly apparent to them the fix did not address the underlying issue if they bothered to drive it for a mile or two after the repair was done. This test drive and verification was not done to the best of my knowledge, or rather, it was very short and not thorough.Becker ultimately accepted a small degree of responsibility for not originally diagnosing the head gasket failure by refunding me the money spent on at least the thermostat replacement (there may have been an extra $100 to $150 in addition to the cost on this repair but I don't remember).Moral of the story: if you take your GM vehicle, or any vehicle to Becker for service, absolutely insist they do a THOROUGH and COMPREHENSIVE inspection if you suspect there may be more going on than some routine maintenance will remedy.
