Great customer service! We were able to make an appointment to get our Jeep looked at quickly. They had it fixed and back to us in a day and a half!

I would give zero or negative rating stars if I could. DON'T GO HERE! Had a diagnostic while traveling, indicated a minor issue so we took our vehiCLE here for transmission service. Not only did they try to discredit the first shop that told us all we needed was a maintenance service they also tried to rip us off by selling us a transmission to replace one that was only 2 years old, then when they refilled the fluid, they shorted us 2 quarts. Fortunately we immediately took it to a small transmission only shop on Pines and had a second opinion or the AAMCO experience would have cost us $3500. The second shop filled it and it is working fine. it pays to get a second opinion!!

out of all of the times i’ve been here, i’ve only had a few off experiences, and even those were handled very well. Bruce especially is great, he is very good at explaining issues in a way that 1. don’t make me feel stupid and 2. let me know exactly what’s going on. Pricing can be a little higher, but from what i’ve seen it’s mostly on par with other places around town (i’ve never had a rebuild or full replacement so i can’t comment on that). They usually work very fast and have never let me be without my car for more than a few days (even if i was quoted a week or two). They’re reliable, fast, and are usually the first place i think of when I have an issue with my transmission. I know i’ll be taken care of, and i know that i won’t be taken advantage of (which for some reason is very common as a woman getting her car worked on in spokane ?).

Took my car in and they ran into a few problems with my little nightmare. They kept me informed and did what they could and went above and beyond taking care of my car and me. My hats off to the techs and Bruce for all they did. Definitely my place to go if I ever need transmission work done.

The staff here are very professional, and they treat you like family! Lets ben honest, No one likes getting bad news about their vehicle, especially when the bill comes; These guys know what they are doing and they won't try and upsell you or overprice any services like a lot of other repair shops.I stopped in 2 weeks ago to get my transmission looked over, I was having issues with slipping and boost creep. I was quoted over $15,000 at my local subaru dealership, and they told me I had to get a whole new transmission without telling me what was wrong specifically. I took it to AAMCO for a second opinion, and they told me I had a few minor leaks and was only missing about a quart of transmission fluid. After topping me off with fluid, my car runs perfectly again! Im jot slipping gears and shifting is smooth again!I will still need to return to get my leaks repaired ( I am currently awaiting a quote), but a repair is definitely better than the $15,000 subaru wanted me to pay.If you're looking for someone locally to work on your vehicle, I would 100% recommend you stop by and have them look your car over. They will give you all the details as well as regular updates. You can't go wrong with these guys. Do yourself a favor and ease your car worries with AAMCO.

I took 2 of my vehicles here last year and had bad experience. First my 2014 GMC Truck had a slip. They told me I needed a new transmission. Funny thing my cousin has been a transmission repair man for 30 years and 2 weeks earlier said it was fine. I could not get back to him as he lives in MT so I said change it. After it was changed it still had issues and it took weeks to get my truck back.During that time my son's mustang had a Transmission leak so I had them fix it. I brought it home and it had 2 more leaks so I brought it back. They informed me that it was the front seal and the timing gear cover seal. I told them to fix it and while they were in to replace the timing chain. On return the timing was out so I took it back and had them fix it.This last Friday the car broke down on the side of the road. AAMCO was not open so I took it to my Primary Mechanic, Northwest Automotive. They found the harmonic pulley shattered because it was not tightened down properly the last time it was removed. When I contacted this store they first called the mechanic that found the problem a liar. Then said they never worked on the timing a second tine because his paperwork is 100% correct and has been for 30 years. Now who's lying. There are shops that don't write up warranty paperwork if a job comes in in less than a few days and they made the mistake. Now they refuse to take any blame or responsibility. The manager told me if I wrote this he would just come back and say it is not their responsibility it is mine. So if shops like this are not accountable for their work, What are we teaching this generation about worth and workmanship. The worst part of this is N/W told me that due to the loose Harmonic Pulley my Crankshaft now has play which could mean a new engine. Could that have been their play all along.

Took my car in to have my brakes looked at because the brake warning light in the dashboard kept coming on at random and the brakes would act up sometimes. I asked this repair shop to look at the brakes and repair them if there was a major issue with it. They instead fixed a completely different part of the vehicle and the brakes are still having issues. They also hate working with any insurance company, so if you have a car that has insurance coverage and you take it to this repair shop, be prepared to pay a lot more than just the deductible.

It took 3 different transmissions and they finally got one that works right. They were extremely professional about the whole situation and I thank them so much for not giving up on the whole thing. I finally got my truck back and I'm extremely gratefulService: Transmission

This used to be a good and trustworthy place to take your vehicle. Now it is overpriced with limited hours and poor customer service. I took my vehicle here and it took them 4 days to even evaluate it, and along the way communication was only initiated on my side, I had to chase status and info and did not get return calls even after several hours, etc. The quote was about 50% higher than the dealer charged so I had it towed to be repaired at the dealer. On top of that, when AAA contacted them for when the car would be ready to pick up, they shared all of my information and situation with them. Overall unprofessional and detrimental to the situation. Not worth trusting them. Never again.
