Went here to have my shifter cables tightened and was charged about $40 for something that took about 5 minutes to do. Come on man!

I took my bike here for service and REPEATEDLY emphasized that I did not want any frame damage while doing the repair. I was assured by the manager Dan Nordendale that my bike would be taken care of. Instead, my bike was chipped and nicked in numerous areas, causing more damage than 2 seasons at Silver Mt Bike park. On top of that, when I politely suggested (validly) that a small amount of time masking the area they were working on could have prevented the damage, I was cursed at and gaslit by none other then the manager Dan himself. They didn't hesitate to charge me $100 an hour for their "service". Wish I could rate them zero stars.UPDATE after response from owner Mark Neupert: How am I not surprised at all by this response.. You must teach your staff how to gaslight personally.. Everything I said was absolutely true. you can clearly see the numerous nicks and chips in my photos, yet you claim that your staff only caused a “2 mm by 2 mm nick”?! And I absolutely told your staff repeatedly not to damage my frame. Also, to whom and what exactly did I EVER say that was verbally abusive?! I can tell you exactly what f-bombs your “manager” Dan dropped in front of me and my 17 year old son as he absolutely gaslit me. I would love to hear what exactly I said that was abusive but I know the ACTUAL TRUTH, that you are even further gaslighting me in order to make your business look to be the victim.

This Titus Main son of Brandon Main regarding the “gaslighting/cursing” when bringing in my Purple/Grey/Black Marin after my father’s bike being taken in. Not exactly sure where all this came from since I was present for both bringing in and getting my bike back. Not once did my father gaslight or curse at Dan during either time for the bike. We took the bike in and had a passive conversation on both occasions as well. Zero negative remarks were made by my dad to you guys while inside the store, rather he has the class to not speak to you in a rude manner in your own establishment. Although I haven’t been a customer for a long time since I recently got my bike, so take this as you will, but I couldn’t read the egregious behavior you accused my dad to have done to you guys. Making up such information rather been being accountable for your guy’s own mistakes? Doesn’t seem to professional for me but this is only my own input. Take care.

I brought my low budget fat tire bike in for repairs, after my own failed repair attempt. They were quick, inexpensive, and wonderfully understanding. I was back peddling in just a few hours. Thanks for the great experience!

I brought my Schwin bike into the Wheel Sport Valley, and all I needed was new tires. The staff were very nice and professional in their jobs. Not only did they put new tires on, but he also done a few adjustments to make the bike easier to pedal, until I can get it refurbished. This store will be my first choice for that. Thank you Wheel Sport.

Absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so nice. Stop here before you think of going to a big-box chain. No one who's locally owned can last in Spokane as long as they have, without providing excellent service.

Took my new RadMini in with spoke problem. They did a great job and fixed it the same day that we dropped it off. We really like this LBS and will go back when we need anything.

I took in my working Turbo Levo for a yearly maintenance tune-up and checked out an occasional battery code that did not affect the usability of the bike. However, wheel Sports first tested the battery and found no codes. Then upon updating the firmware, it sent the battery into permanent status failure. After Bricking the battery and reaching out to Specialized, there were no solutions of help offered other than buying a battery at cost.I will start with this; the tech was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful with all my questions. However, the gentleman at the front desk was very contentious, basically telling me I was lying about how the bike was working before I brought it in to check it. He was not helpful at all, nor did he offer a good customer service experience. I was told, “too bad, not our fault.”I have to say I’m very disappointed in how the LBS and Specialized have not taken guilt or offered any remedies/solutions to the issue. With only 2,000 miles, something like 80-100 cycles and at 90% battery life. This should be a covered event, or at the very least a discount should have been offered. The kicker to me is that I will be purchasing a new Ebike in the next couple of weeks. So, needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere and being very vocal about my customer experience at Wheel Sports.RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE:You're conventionally leaving out a couple of significant factors on this issue in your response.1. The bike worked before giving it to you.a. Granted, it was intermittently showing an error. But I was neverwarned that you "not being a negligent" LBS that could cause abattery to brick. Otherwise, I would have explored other options withyou for troubleshooting the issue.b. It was a used bike; this comes with inherent risks that was never inquestion. I feel that Wheel Sport (Valley) applying a firmware updatewithout disclosing that it could cause a "Permanent Failure Code."places partial fault on you, either by ignorance for not knowing that itcould cause this code issues or negligence.2. The reason for this review is because this experience by you and your chosen partner of Specialized should be voiced. So that other customers can make an informed decision on where to take their business and which brands they should lean towards and away from.a. This whole issue has been made out to be my fault, from theconversation with the gentleman who made sure to tell me thebike was NOT working when I brought it in.. which was not thecase.b. To telling me I need to talk to whom I bought it from. Come on?You're the person in charge of handlingthe responses to reviews? You're proving my point by makingresponses like that.c. In response to not being able to convince Specialized that it was avalid claim and going to "bat" for me. According to Rider Care, theissue isn't resolved; they are in attempts to get in contact with youon getting a resolution worked out. So, if I was given all theoptions, meaning buying a battery at full price, making you themost profit, why is the case still unresolved. So were you trying tonot only charge me for the diagnostics, firmware update, and thegain on me purchasing a new battery? It sounds like I was tryingto be taken for as much profit as possible.

Had charging problems with my Specialized Turbo Levo ebike, had taken it to several other shops without any resolution. Hours spent updating software, etc. never worked. Took it here and the technician listened to me and evaluated the problem. Left it for 2 hours, he replaced the internal electric cable he said had been a problem on a few other Specialized ebikes and replaced under warranty. Works like a charm, very grateful, excellent skill and customer service.

Quick Service, and absolutely unbeatable pricing for the simple job I had to have done. Some shops estimated it would have taken $60 or more to take the nut out of my pedal socket, but these guys did it for $10
