Since my other review was taken down I tell you again slow service nobody on the floor to help you find what your looking for. ? step it people I had to find the ? bolts I needed myself, which took alot longer.

I have shopped at this True Value a total of five times now. Everyone is friendly. There is usually 5-6 people working in the empty store. Store is huge. Here is the issue. Their selection is very limited. I can never find what I need. Or they have an item that might work but the price is insane.I asked for a mini Torx set and the guy showed me a huge Torx adapter. It was a head scratcher in what world a mini Torx set could translate to a Torx adapter for T30. But he was very friendly and tried to help. This has been my experience all five times I've gone in. I repair small low voltage motors and often need out of the ordinary supplies.Montgomery Hardware is right across the street. They have over these last ten years been very helpful and they have always had what I needed. Today the Torx set I needed was right at the cash register display. They have even helped me Frankenstein some things. I don't know why I keep going into True Value, maybe because they are easier to get to when going west on Montgomery. No more. Montgomery Hardware is just the go to.

My partner has to carry necessary medical equipment with him always. He walked into the store and sat down to wait for me. The manager identified himself and told my partner to leave without asking any questions. My partner said he was there to spend money, but not anymore. He said we are leaving and the manager said, "Good." Medical discrimination is not okay and the insensitivity of the manager has caused me to never want to shop at any Tru Value again. Disgusting behavior.

I went to the entrance and sat down. I was told this was not a hang out spot by the store manager. I told them I was there to spend my money. When my gf came in to walk with me, I was telling the manager that I will not be spending money here. I understand there is a Trasient issue on aaragon. But I was treated not as a human but as a problem. When I told the manager that I would not be spending money there, their response was "good". Even if I was "hangingout" I'm still a human and deserve to be treated as such. Never going here again.

I had the best experience with the man who does the small engine repair (Derek Boskie)He is very knowledgeable. Very precise and friendly he has made it easy to understand the information I needed to know to keep up on the maintenance of my small engine.

Very helpful employees who helped me get and load a wheel barrow into the car, even helped me take it apart as it didn't fit. Great selection of garden materials. Will be back.

Great place for your hardware and garden needs. They have good quality houseplants for a pretty nice price. I came here for a copy of a key and it worked on the first try. I can't say that about other hardware stores in the area.

Asked for help was told didn't carry the item. I proceeded to then find said item. As I was checking out employee had a dog he couldn't control behind the counter. The dog was acting aggressive towards people and he was yelling at the dog and do a poor job of handling it. Made me feel unsafe.

Went in to get copies of keys made and not a single one of them worked. Went across the street to Montgomery Hardware keys worked perfect. Lesson of the day: True Value stinks, Montgomery Hardware rocks

Great store and very helpful associates. Wasn't rushed nor bothered. I took the time to see what they have being my first time in and there's a large variety of items. From a hunting and fishing aisle, a chicken item aisle, sprinkler systems and beautiful patio furniture (just to name a few). It was such a positive experience over big box stores! And actual helpful conversation and advice! I will be returning again for my hardware needs! Kudos to the Saturday afternoon crew today. You all were so polite and made great conversation.Also, on a side note, bad reviews based on mask policies should be not considered. These reviews are based on that persons opinion and obviously didn't age well as WA is under a new phase. Please consider that while reading reviews, not only for here but also the other businesses who have been Karened.
