Had a delivery scheduled for a window of between noon and 4:00. Andy called at 11:55 and advised he was 5 minutes away. He got here and unloaded my crate, and was so kind bringing it up to the garage. Very personable as well. I don't have anything but good to say.

Literally can't say enough good things about this company, from day 1 Old Dominion Freight has been so courteous and efficient. Every time I can, I get connected right to a rep who speaks clearly, is polite, and gets me the answers I need. They are significantly cheaper than the competitors and go above and beyond their service quoted! You'd be crazy to pick someone else. They got our shipment to its destination 1600+ miles away on the first day available in their delivery window, nothing was broken inside, and all the staff we interacted with in both Washington and Wisconsin were so great!! I'm hoping to not move again for a while, haha, but if I do I'm definitely using these guys again!

I've used old dominion for 5+ years and would not recommend this carrier to anyone. They will quote you one thing and on the back end after the shipment is delivered, they'll triple the rate. On top of that, they're customer service leaves a lot to be desired, if Ryan is your contact be ready to be lied to about the reasons they adjust your price and expect if you change each time you get billed for a shipment. Money trumps taking care of customers to this company.

Partnered with U-Pack moving service, we were given a quote and set up a delivery date for a moving truck to have at our house just prior to closing on the sell of our property. Upon delivery the driver thought the County maintained road was “too difficult” to drive and our driveway wouldn’t be possible to deliver a trailer to. We informed them we’ve done this several times in the past and it was never even a concern. The driver let us know that not only did he have a federal CDL license he would not be come up the road because his tires may slip (June roads in Washington- all hard pack little gravel). He said he would let his boss know and he would be coming out to evaluate the road. Later in the day the manager came out and let us know he was now too nervous because of the power lines and he would ask his better drivers if they could come out. About an hour later we received a call from U-pack saying Old Dominion had refused to deliver the trailer. I immediately called Old Dominion and they let me know that they had forgotten to inform me but they weren’t coming back. After calling U-pack they said they had several options. It turned out there was one option and it involved us renting a u-haul, driving to Old Dominion and loading the truck there. I wouldn’t highly discourage anyone from using either company as they were both unprofessional and not knowledgeable on moving household goods or using google maps prior to booking reservations.
