I cannot say enough amazing things about Nina. She is an expert and anyone who is lucky enough to work with her knows it! I came to her with a rather unique and high fashion wedding gown from New York. I bought it sample sale and there were A LOT of things about it that I loved and a LOT of things about it that I didn't love. During my first appt with Nina she listened carefully to every single issue and concern I had about the dress from head to toe, even the things I couldn't really put my finger on. She showed me different options for each thing I wanted to alter, and worked with me until we came to the right solution. She changed the sleeves, the bodice, completely lined the sheer parts, gave me a beautiful ballroom bustle, and so many other things that took my dress from 90% awesome to 1000% awesome. Also she was just FUN to work with. I always looked forward to chatting with her at my appts. Also she totally talked me off the ledge when I got cold feet about my dress a few weeks before the wedding. She addressed all my concerns and I can honestly say that I have never felt more beautiful than in the dress she brought to life. It was the dress of my dreams and I'm so, so grateful I was able to work with Nina. Thank you, Nina! You're the BEST!

Nina is amazing! I found my dress in WA but now live out of state, which she usually won't accept to do, but I am so grateful she worked with me! She worked with my schedule while I was back in town, and even did a rush on the last fitting to finish my dress in time to travel back home. It was a difficult bustle, and she did beautifully on it by doing enough points to still accentuate the gorgeous dress! She also suggested to take it in because I lost weight since the first fitting. Now it fits like a glove and is just so beautiful on me! Thank you Nina for all your help, and for doing such a fabulous job! I can't wait to wear it!

Nina was absolutely a joy to work with for my wedding gown! She graciously took my dress alterations on quite last minute when a previous alterations job didn’t go as planned and I so appreciate her working me in during wedding busy season. Nina made my dress fit like a glove and even created a unique bustle that turned out beautifully. Highly recommend Nina to any future brides!!

Nina did an absolutely phenomenal job with taking a hot mess of a dress and making it stunning!! I had originally purchased my dress honestly not knowing it was *three* sizes too big! Huge oops on my end. I really did not know what I was doing. However, Nina absolutely saved the day and several alteration appointments later I had the dress of my dreams fitting me like a glove! She was also so sweet during the appointments with me. Bless her heart. I am a year late with this review but I keep looking back at my wedding pictures and she did such a gorgeous job. I will 110% be recommending her to others! Thank you Nina!!

This was a terrible experience. I am an out of town bride and had to schedule my alteration dates way in advance so I could book my flights. Nina canceled on me 3 months before my wedding and I was left at square one.

I had Nina do the standard alterations on my wedding dress as well as a custom component to make my dress backless. Nina was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She was great about offering design suggestions and putting my ideas into words. My dress turned out better than I could’ve imagined, it fit me perfectly and was comfortable and supportive thanks to her additions. Working with her was a fantastic experience and I cannot recommend her enough!

Nina is top-notch, the real deal. It's hard to describe in words how special she and her work are to me!! I worked with her for over a year on my wedding dress, which was a 72-year-old heirloom dress that both my Nana and my mom wore. It was so special to me and my family I knew I really had to find someone I could trust with it. I am SO glad I found Nina because she was a dream to work with! I wanted to keep the integrity of the dress but still add some small changes to make it more me (and to fit me better). I came to Nina with a lotttt of ideas (I was kind of all over the place) and she very patiently asked questions and offered suggestions until we finally landed on ideas I was excited about! She was also just as excited about the project and treated the whole process with the uttermost care. It was really special to have someone who truly understood how special the dress was and was so enthusiastic about making it work for me! I live in Seattle so coming in for fittings was tricky at times but she worked with me and my schedule to get everything done when we needed. In the end, she made the dress fit me like a glove and incorporated our ideas perfectly (giving the dress a slight high-low to show my shoes, updating the lace appliques, and having the shoulders come down to fit perfectly on mine). She had worked her magic to make this vintage dress feel uniquely me while still shining with its original beauty. Nina is so talented, professional, sweet, and lovely, I loved working with her and hope to again in the future!

Nina Cherie was overall a very unpleasant experience. Not only was her customer service very poor, she forgot about making my custom veil that I had paid for in full at our first appointment. At the last appointment I noticed some dirty stains near my train where she put buttons on for the bustle and she blamed them on me... for ordering 'off the rack' .. like that was what made it dirty. Its obvious that the stains are fingerprint smudges that are directly where she sewed the buttons on. Oh, the worst part was at one of my fittings she asked me if I was 'actively trying to lose weight'. I'm sorry, but no bride should ever feel bad about her size or her investment on the dress ... brides should feel celebrated for exactly where they are. As a beauty industry professional, I will be sure to find a different recommendation for any of my future brides!

Nina was recommended by the bridal shop where I bought my gown as their normal alterations person was booked out months and months and couldn't get me in. I had 3 fittings with Nina over 6 or 7 months and the end result was absolute perfection. The top of the dress had to be taken in A LOT and the fit was so perfect! Nina also shortened the length, recommended adding pads to get the look I was trying to achieve, and added a bustle that I loved and was so easy to do. Such a great experience, cannot recommend Nina enough!
