Thank you so much for fixing my Buick Ranier. I missed her. Can we make another appt for her air shocks?

Mechanics Pride were super helpful with our old Toyota pickup. They were very professional, they did the work we needed in the time they said it would take. And the cost was surprisingly affordable. Highly recommended!

After my alternator went out on my 2013 Chevy Sonic, I took it into Mechanics Pride on Pines. They diagnosed the problem quickly and provided an estimate (verbal) in the range of $500 to replace. I gave them the go ahead.
Found out that that was about the cost of just the alternator itself ($408) and the whole bill would be more like $800. Well if that's the cost, that's the cost I said.
Before picking it up I checked the cost to buy the exact alternator they put in my vehicle, which I found on O'Reilly's (where they bought it from) for $250. I asked the guy who handled the transaction why his costs were higher than I could buy, and I was met with attitude and bristling about 'questioning his integrity'. Man, if that's your cost, you should be able to back it up without getting angry and defensive. I remain unconvinced, seems more like I was being charged a premium for no reason.
The kicker: within a week, my charge system light came on multiple times and continues to about 25% of the time, followed by a general check engine light that came on today, which leads me to believe they didn't even do the repair correctly. Now I'll have to take it somewhere else for further repairs.

This was our second time taking our SUV to Mechanics Pride on Pines and again they gave us no hassle and did the work they said they would do and for the estimate given - no hidden fees or surprises. If you need anything done, check with these guys first. Ask for Steve, he is a joker and will answer with honesty. Thanks again! AC blowing colder than ever!

I had Mechanics Pride work on my F150 back in 2019 to replace a control arm. I took my F150 back to Mechanics Pride for a front end alignment and tire rotation about two or three months ago. I decided to go back since they did a good job back in 2019.
They completed the front end alignment and tire rotation but then stated the brakes would need to be replaced in 6 months, a new wheel bearing would be needed on the passenger side, and some other small things regarding minor leaks. I gave them the green light to replace the brakes, the wheel bearing, and to do what was needed to resolve the small leaks since my F150 was already at their shop. "Replace the brakes" meaning rotors, pads, and brake fluid lines.
Approximately four or five days after I picked up my F150, I experienced issues with the brakes that were not there before. I would apply the brakes causing the truck to pull hard to the right and aggressively drift to the left when I would coast. I returned my F150 to Mechanics Pride and explained the new issues. After "investigating" my claims, they replaced only one brake caliper, on the passenger side, and stated the issues were resolved.
Approximately a week and a half after I picked up my F150 that time around, I experienced the same issues with pulling hard to the right when I would apply the brakes and aggresively drifting to the left when I would coast as well as a burning smell from the driver side wheel and smoke coming from the wheel. I returned my F150 to Mechnanics Pride for a second time and explained the returned issues as well as the new issues. After "investigating" my claims, they stated it was the driver side brake caliper. They replaced the brake caliper then stated, once again, the issues were resolved.
This evening, 06/06/24, while driving home from work I experienced all the issues listed above again. Pulling hard to the right when braking, aggressively drifting left when I would coast, smoke coming from the driver side wheel, and a burning smell.
Obviously, all the work and "repairs" Mechanics Pride completed during three different visits did not resolve any issues and may have caused more. At this point the entire brake system is "new." All together, I have paid over $2,000 and nothing has been fixed. This is unacceptable as I'm back to square one with these issues. I plan on finding a new place to take my F150 to. I also noticed an individual gave a negative review not to long ago regarding repairs to her brakes.
I do not recommend Mechanics Pride as they are a liability to your vehicle. Take your trust and money somewhere else.

Had rear brakes done and not even week later making sounds, took it back and was told it was dust in the brakes and that my cars ready. Went to pick up and still making horrible sound. Also had second car in there for 2 weeks and steering still doesn’t work! $1400 for and 2 weeks for nothing. Will find a company that values me and my time. Do yourself a favor, do not trust mechanics pride.

Had an issue with my vehicles cooling system so changed a thermostat but I didn't think the vehicle was acting right and with no diagnostic tools I took the truck in to Mechanics Pride. They got to it reasonably fast, ran full diagnostics and found no issues. They charged me exactly $0. Have been a loyal customer for years and will continue to be for many more. Honest mechanics are beyond hard to find these days and Mechanics Pride has always treated me fairly, quick service, excellent customer service and very communicative throughout who process. If you're looking stop here and take your car in.

My diesel truck lost its power while driving on a very cold morning recently. My immediate plan was limping it into “Mechanics Pride” auto repair shop a mile away. They had me back on the road in two days and it cost way less than I expected. I’ve always received fast, friendly, professional service at Mechanics Pride. Thanks for everything guys. ???

It’s great that they were able to get me in quick to replace my blower motor fan, cause no heat in the winter sucks… But now my steering wheel is cockeyed, and my alignment is more messed up than before while my car is saying that my traction is nowhere to be found. Kind of disappointing for the price I paid to have it fixed.
