Unsatisfactory 90-day return policy..unless you have their (Lowe’s) credit card. Can’t even get in-store credit. In late October I purchased $1500 worth of tile for a bathroom remodel. After completing the project, I recently attempted to return two leftover boxes but was told I could not because it was beyond 90 days (it had been about 115 days since I purchased the tile). I asked if I could receive in-store credit instead since that particular tile was still on the store’s shelf. I was told “No” and that Lowe’s no longer offers in-store credit. I was also told I could open a Lowe’s credit card account and return items for up to one year. No thanks; I don’t want another credit card. To me, that’s unacceptable. Lowe’s just lost a once loyal customer. I will never purchase from Lowe’s again.

We had to return a bad snow blower and the Lowe's we went to made the return so smooth and easy.

Well, today I was treated GREAT. Almost all employees spoke and were helpful and I absolutely appreciated it and I let them know it too. Because the Coeur D Alene location is horrible and I'm treated horribly (attacked once) even though that's where I shop most and have spent 10's of thousands since moving there.

Went to get keys after moving, one of the few places that's not 10+ bucks for a standard brass key. Self-serve machine and employee-driven available, about the same price. Friendly and helpful employees, seem to enjoy being there - Didn't run into any that seemed to have their will and spirit drained, might have just been early in the day still.

Delivery folks failed to install new vent hose and clamps that I purchased. I called Customer Support and they told me I have to come in person to show my receipt to get the pieces to install myself.I was also informed that if I operated the machine myself without new hookups, I’d be voiding my manufacturer warranty. If I didn’t operate the machine my Lowe’s return policy would lapse.I was left in a very bad position, unable to test my machine to get the backing of Lowe’s without simultaneously voiding my manufacturer warranty.Overall I wouldn’t recommend this service without watching directly over the installer, taking pictures, and comparing each item installed against your receipt. I worry for those who aren’t either initiated or fully understand warranties and would suggest they go another route.Also, I was warned that operating on “old or existing hookups is dangerous” by Lowe’s associates and told by the delivery team the direct opposite. Keep in mind I paid for this experience. Such a headache and potentially hundreds of dollars and/or many hours of my time if the machine doesn’t work.I buy things new to make sure things are done right and can be rectified by the store and then manufacturer later. It’s been communicated to me that my stopwatch for returns started when the machine was improperly installed.

The staff in store are as pleasant as can be expected. Twice now, however, I have made large purchases online to be picked up curbside and had their credit department fill my credit card with pre-authorizarion charges, only to have my card declined for being maxed out, and shut off by my bank for suspected fraud. In store employees have no way to fix the issue, but are aware it is a recurring problem. Lowe's corporate needs to fix this mess.

I won’t buy another product from Lowe’s, especially any EGO products. I spent $1800 on a brand new snow blower. They delivered a floor model with the Lowes price sticker on it, it was the wrong model number, no batteries, and the delivery driver (they must handout cdls once you come in) tried to convince me it wasn’t a floor model. ALL ego products come in boxes!!! I’m not sure who made the decision to ship a floor model, but they need to be fired.

I dont know much about electrical and was sent to lowes by my uncle to get a double pole breaker. I had with me a single breaker that came out of the box and a photo of the panel's breaker types it accepted but i still wasnt finding what i needed. Julio helped me and after he had me describe what we were doing, he got me a compatable part thats actually called a tandem, whereas a double pole is for 220 appliances, we really just needed to turn one slot into two switches in one single slot. I'm so appreciative that a skilled electrician is working at lowes, taught me something, and helped me get my new outlet working so running the air fryer and toaster at the same time didnt trip a breaker.
