2.8.24: Stopped in to pick up ingredients to make a spiked apple cider and they were having a live demo of a baker making fresh chocolate dipped strawberries and selling them fresh right there by the half dozen. There were different toppings and I couldn't resist passing them up. When I tried one, the strawberry was sweet for being out of season and the chocolate had a nice coating, not too thin.

Store is always very clean and when they have sales they're worth going to especially on the meat sales but who ever is run ing the bakery needs to stop. And work somewhere else. They over cook everything and they're very selfish when it comes to putting toppings on like the cream cheese on top of the cinnamon rolls stuff they're very skimpy on it and the cinnamon rolls are overcooked and throw the cookies most of stuff there is no good that's only for the one on Trent though argon the rest of them are great

I prefer Safeway to Walmart or Winco most of the time. Just has the feel of small hometown and most have great service and the produce is always bigger and better than Winco and Walmart.

I was in a real bind today I need to pull out $40 off of my debit card and only had $40.50 on it and the gal was nice enough to do a split payment and made it quick and easy I can't say how helpful they really are except for it to say that the gal was wonderful

Safeway is my favorite go to grocery store. Produce is always fresh and isles are clean and wide. Huge selection on everything I need. I love the deli. The bakery has the best aroma and price. Cakes are beautiful and delicious. The meat market has the best chicken fajita already mixed. Just take home and cook. Wonderful stuff. This is also the only place I get my lobster legs from as well. Thank you Safeway employees for being so helpful and kind to the customers.

Blind? All the booze locked. Couldn't find a 'help' button. And why is the laundry detergent locked up??? Cost? Why not the beef, or the peanut oil, or the crazy prices on the spices??? PrepH too! Us tweekers can extract the lidocaine!!! ;-) BUT seriously; a normal, well stocked Safeway. -1 star because the checker gave zero Fs about her job. More personality from the self-check. At least those eyes are looking at you.

Prices are high and commonly out of stock on some very basic staple items. The deli is unreasonably over priced.

Eh just another average safeway...customer service is okayish...kinda getting a "karen vibe" from Cathy, but overall average good customer service "BUH BYE NOW!!" response from her. I personally think it's kinda weird to talk to someone as if they're like a toddler...sorry not sorry but I seriously get that impression from her. UPDATEAgain I meant what I said & don't care how you feel about it!!! Oh well!! I'm someone that observes how I'm spoken to & her 1st impression comes off awkward as if she's replying back to a toddler. Saying " buh bye" OR " bye bye" sounds like you're speaking to a toddler ( no it's not super mean, but just weird) and comes off dumb.

I went to Safeway on Trent and Argonne (Spokane) for their $5.00 sale, July 14. My phone app listed the Signature 3-pound 80/20 hamburger twin pack under the date in the $5 Friday section. I was told by two employees in the meat department that the Signature Farms 80/20 ground beef twin pack was not honored. They said it was not the same as what my phone app showed. The packs were clearly marked as Signature farms but were $14.99, this is not a proper way to do business.

This store went from Albertson's to Safeway a couple years ago. They painted and refurbished it at that time and it was almost like a new store. However, you sure can't tell that today. While the store isn't dirty, it just doesn't sparkle like a 'new' store should. And they are always out of so many things, but no one seems to know why. And the prices are higher than a nearby competitor. A couple months ago I was at the customer service counter, waiting for someone to wait on me. I watched a guy come in the store, and walk out with a case of beer he never paid for. I told the person at the CS counter, and he just shrugged and said "we're not allowed to stop them." Great policy. How about an alarm system like other retailers have? At least you'd not be making it easy for them. I avoid this store whenever possible...

Thank you, Safeway bakery and Safeway floral department, for helping me plan my parents 50th anniversary from Colorado. I was able to come pick everything up I needed and Shasta the florist went out of her way to help us. The bakery made the cake and cupcakes perfect and even called me to confirm. I felt very accommodated. Excellent service.

Had to make a quick stop in at my local Safeway on Trent. Was by myself with my young children, at checkout scanning my items as the self checkout worker came up to me to compliment my kids. Normal for me until she tried to pick up my child by putting her hands under her armpits motioning to lift her out of my personal stroller. I called the manager after I got back safely to my car and was told that she just doesn't understand boundaries. Please be careful with your young children around this woman. Didn't get her name but I have seen her multiple times and have had to tell her multiple times not to touch my children.

Cashier at self-checkout this evening was rude and didn't know what she was talking about. The item I was buying was ringing up different than the sticker, so I went and took a picture and she refused to fix it. She totally wasted my time and I walked out without buying anything. Also the produce at this location is awful, so much moldy old food.
