Kicker has been attending daycare here for over 4 years now. We love it. He is such a happy boy when he knows we are doing down the long driveway to the daycare. Thank you for always tiring my puppers out. He sleeps well after daycare.

Pictures below are from my review to the Better Business Bureau. The owner responded to my review and actually lied to try to get it removed.

Shaggy Shack Pet Resort returned my severely arthritic, disabled dog to me smelling of pee, a sticky underbelly from laying in her pee, raw spots on her elbows, an elbow with dried blood, inflammation and swelling of both her elbows so severe that it shook with each step my dog would take, and pee on her food container. I put my dog into boarding August 17-21, 2023 with Shaggy Shack; Thursday afternoon to Monday morning. My dog has a muscle dystrophy disorder that effects anywhere in her body that has collagen. At less than 2 years old, she has severe arthritis in her elbows. I let Shaggy Shack know of her disorder prior to leaving her with them. I even wrote a note and taped it to her food container. I spoke with 2 workers, 1 manager, and then finally the owner. None of the stories matched with the others. When I spoke with Tonya, the owner, I explained how I received my dog and that her inflammation could only be that severe if she was not given her medication. Tonya said "the girls could have missed some medications, we're not perfect." I asked for a refund, to which she said "we won't be administering a refund because that would be admitting we did something wrong." My dog was returned to me with dried blood and sticky from pee, how is that right? I have no answers I'm satisfied with, only multiple stories of what may or may not have happened to my disabled dog. At this point, I paid to have her be grossly neglected. Tonya provided a med sheet 4 days later to try to claim they gave my dog her medication, even though my hydrotherapist (who I had look over my dog for other injuries) agreed her condition could've only been that bad if she had not received her medication. Tonya shifted the blame to me, saying "You chose to bring her to a highly stimulated setting instead of staying home with your handicapped pup." I trusted Shaggy Shack to care for my dog as if she were your own, as the website claims the business would do. I will not make that error again and suggest others not to as well. Do better.

My husband and I dropped off our dog for 4 nights. She was well taken care of and we got a full report from the staff on her stay when we picked her up. She's so tired from all the playing, she had a blast! She's usually a timid dog but at the Shaggy Shack she felt right at home!Thank you guys for taking such great care of her!We will definitely be bringing her back!

They do a great job on our three pups. They can all be kinda difficult to deal with in public, but the team here does a great job on our big dogs. Prices are fair and they are very quick.

We left our dog at Shaggy Shack after our house was sold. Who knew it would take 80 days to find a replacement home?!! The staff cared for Zip that entire time, and he loved every bit of the attention and pampering! He was happy to see us again, but he will definitely miss everyone there! This is THE BEST pet resort EVER!

Shaggy Shack has been great for our puppy since day 1. He's an ACD and has a ton of energy. We use Shaggy for daycare to help him get the exercise he needs during the work week. They love him like their own and he comes home exhausted. The staff is great and friendly and we've had great boarding experiences there as well when we've needed. It's like a second home for our pups!

The staff is nice, and my dog enjoyed her time there playing with the other dogs. We won't be back though because of the owner Tonya. We had our dog there for the day and got held up in Renton. We called at 5 pm, saying we would be a few minutes late, and if that was ok. They said that would be fine. About ten minutes later, the owner Tonya called back and was very passive aggressive with my mom, saying they absolutely will not stay past 6 pm, and if we are not there in time, our dog would be boarded for the night. We arrived at 6:02 and sure enough they were closed. I understand the policy that they close at 6, and they don't have to stay open, but to be told they will and then be called back later by the owner saying no and being borderline rude is what I have the problem with. Had Tonya just been a little understanding and explained the situation with a little sympathy, we would have been good.

The Shaggy Shack Pet Resort and the staff are amazing and provided such a great experience for my dog, Eliza. This was a new experience for Eliza and she gets nervous, however, Eliza stayed there multiple days and was so well taken care!! The staff obviously not only love dogs but are amazing at interacting with the dogs and making sure my slightly anxious dog was grouped with calmer dogs her size. I was so pleased she was able to enjoy some socialization without feeling overwhelmed. I think she had fun with the other dogs and the great staff!Charles was fabulous at keeping me apprised of her experience and I feel completely comfortable with leaving Eliza in such great hands. The staff and owner care about these dogs as individuals with their unique needs and seem to have an instinct with helping each animal to ensure they have the best experience possible.I highly recommend this well run and caring environment for anyone's pets

Got stuck in Mexico with covid and they gladly took care of both my dogs for an extra 8 days. They also have an awesome area for the dogs to run around and play.
