Came here on an emergency situation. The gas station over filled my tank and had to bring the fire department out to my house. I brought my food truck to this business and Patrick helped me out. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, way above and beyond any normal service! I’m so grateful I found this place.

as always, the best service in town. Great prices. the staff is fantastic. They always smile. if they do have any issues, they check them at the door because you will not know it. They always smile. they're always helpful and they always make sure to get people in and out as fast or slow as possible as they want to. but their customers are always taken care of. I have never felt like I've been ignored. it's always been a positive experience and I've been going now for at least the last 3 years

I used to appreciate this place, the original owners cared about their customers and now it's just like every other place out there. Prices are to high for propane. There's nothing special about coming to this store anymore.I hoped the new owners could continue to run black bear but they should rename it to something else, it's not black bear anymore.

I've been using blackbear since 2012. I bought a propane tank from them do use for my fireplace. 100 gallon. They also have a really cute gift shop. It's expensive but it has unique items.Today I called for my yearly propane tank fill and these people claim to not even know who I am nor do they recall ever coming to my address. So puzzling. The woman who answered the phone seemed very confused and said she needed to transfer to a different computer. Apparently, at this business, different computers remember people. I sat on hold for a few seconds and then heard ringing. Someone answered the phone and said hi. I said "OK... Did you find it?" The person on the other end said "are you calling Black Bear outpost?" At this point I was done and hung up.Now I have to find another place to get my propane. I like to help out small businesses but this one sucks. They also appear to be a little far to the right now, if you get my drift.Later on in the evening, after I had already hired Peninsula Propane, The confused woman called back and left a message on my landline. She evidently found me since she had that number. I wasn't interested anymore and deleted it due to the way I was treated on the phone. Bad customer service, very unprofessional.

I had a issue with my 4 year old bbq, so I stopped in at Black Bear Outlet a got some suggestions. You nailed it, rust in the in the little burner holes. Small paperclip had them all cleaned in 10 minutes.Thank you very much.

Always excellent customer service and friendly staff. The owners support all military persons by giving a discount on purchases. Absolutely look at the clothes, there’s wonderful deals and the clothes are super soft, good quality made!Love this store, as the best prices for propane.

I had been a customer of Black Bear Outpost for several years and had no problems. I called for propane refill and told them I was nearly out. I was told it would be filled Friday or Monday. The NEXT Thursday I noticed that it hadn’t been filled but I hadn’t been contacted (no note, no phone call) When I called, I was told they would be right out. I got a call back several minutes later and was told that the hose wouldn’t reach and there was stuff in the way. That evening I had a cold shower because the propane ran out. The next morning I called Pac West Propane. They were here in a couple hours and filled it with no problems… Maybe the Black Bear driver was just to busy?
