Telea gave me the best haircut I've ever had! It's not easy to cut mixed people hair and Telea was very knowledgeable, took her time, and did an excellent job!

Hair type: I very long, thick hair and wanted all my split ends cut off.
Stylist: Dakota was great, she made sure to confirm with me the length I wanted cut off and when to begin my long layers.

I've have been going here since October of 2019. Tiffany has been my stylist for the majority of the time and has never done me wrong. I tell her what I'm smoking on the traeger this weekend, and she just ensures that my hair is cut with meticulous detail.

Telea is WORTH the drive. My kiddo has been going there since he was 3. We live 40 mins and every time we see her she makes my son feel extremely comfortable and she makes sure he’s ok.
She’s engaging. She makes him laugh. He now reminds me when he’s due for a cut and always asks for her.
I love that she’s personable and makes every effort to make sure we are happy before getting out of the chair.

I was shocked to hear the stylists talking trash about a customer after he left. I didn't stay for a haircut because they were 30 minutes behind schedule anyway.

I have been coming here for quite some time. I bring.my three boys with me and we all typically get hair cuts at the same time. The place is always clean and the ladies are friendly and personable. They are quick but they don't rush and make sure that we get exactly what we want before we leave.
Stylist: My youngest son (10) and I always see Jess. She is incredible and we hit it off from the first time we met. During his first experience with her, she engaged my son in conversations about our vacation to Disney (we had common ground there). She talked with him recently about a pending trip the we are taking to Hawaii and she is just really good at making both him and me comfortable. She knows exactly how do do his hair and mine and it's always a great experience....like sitting in your living room and talking with a family friend. We don't let anyone do our hair but her anymore!

From where I live I drive past at least 4 other places where I could get my haircut to come here because I consistently get a better haircut.

Came on here to leave a positive review for the stylist Telea, and what do I find...a recent review from some dude named Eric, criticizing not only her, but the place as well. There are so many falsehoods in his statement that I need to take it one by one.
1: The last two times I've been there, I've had Telea as my stylist. They were also my first times there. On both occasions she was kind, courteous, and respectful. As with all hair places, they ask what you want and perform the task. Eric states that she never asked any clarifying questions. If the haircut was good, as he said, then obviously she didn't need to so that's an odd critique. In my case, she did exactly as I asked. As adults, we use our words to communicate what we want. Any lack of 'clarification' is on the customer.
2: Pricing...Eric says it's a ridiculous price, which sure you can gripe about price with anything these days. But saying it's not worth the service and that his ten-minute haircut isn't worth $30 is a strange comment. It's not dictated by how long it takes? Also, you know the price before you go in and get the haircut...if you don't like the price, why go in lol.
3: Gossiping... Eric claims she 'gossiped' the whole time. While I can't speak to his experience, I can say that this was not what happened with me either time. Yes, stylists talk to each other, that happens everywhere, though I don't call it gossip and get upset that every word she speaks isn't to me. Other people exist, other people can be spoken to.
In summary, everyone boo Eric. Boo that man. Boo that lump of coal. Boo that scrooge. Sports Clips is a great place to get a haircut and Telea is a great stylist!

I been going to sports clips for a while, I go see Telia, super friendly, and takes her time to make sure your haircut is done right. Everytime I leave always have a fresh cut and feel good when I leave. Check her out next time you go.

Did my hair very well no mess ups except for one little one that I can probably do at home but it’s not bad (just skipped over some side burn) but highly recommend and I even drive 30 min because the places in puyallup suck

Jess does my hair great, but having a wait list that turns a 45 minute wait into a 1.5hr wait after ALREADY waiting 30 minutes is obnoxious. I've been coming here for over a year, but now I am going to find somewhere else for a cut until the wait list/reservation system stops wasting my time.

Tried to get a walk in haircut to 3 ladies sitting around playing on their phone only to be turned away because they were waiting on online appts and they close in 45 mins. On top of that they catch an attitude. Pure laziness. Go somewhere else. This isn’t the place you want to get a haircut.
