I've been going there since the early '80s and it has grown into a great long range facility.

The shooter's at PB need to understand their impact on the residences in this area- very negatively impactful when long guns are fired (at whim... even up to 9:45 at night). You need to know there are children living in this area, teens, adults, some elderly. ALL desire to sleep when they want to in their homes, and ALL desire to enjoy their property without the random, very loud, noises cast from PB by weapon fire. The noise you create penetrates completely through our home (s) and some of us have had to wait for sleep until late night shooters decide to finish and go home. Imagine if we created those noises in your back yard? The noise you cast through our homes is damaging our health. There are many ways to abate these sounds (firearm suppression, limiting range times, restricting rifle/ shotgun/ large caliber fire, adjusting range firing direction, construction of sound barriers, soliciting a corp to erect an indoor range- like Shooters World, etc). It is long past the time for the leaders and members of this club to recognize their behavior is not wanted nor in any way appropriate. There are no logical arguments justifying a shooting range tucked into a large residential and shopping area. Right or wrong, this community has changed and you need to change with it. Let the record reflect: it is nearly impossible to buy a home in this area and understand the impact of PB's noises BEFORE purchase. You've had more than 2 decades to work through this issue but have effectively done nothing to mitigate it. Shooters, you have a 2A right (and I am 110% for it) but not a right to exercise firing weapons at whim no matter what the cost to others. We, your neighbors, ask you to abate this noise- immediately. Thank you. signed: your neighbors.

I say it's a great outdoor range. Pretty affordable too, as I am not a member and just paid for the day. But my real review is for Jerry, the range officer. VERY, helpful, nice and patient. He was more than happy to help my young son and I sight in a scope since I was clueless.Thank you!

I'm a new member at Paul Bunyan and my fiancé and I came out to the rifle range to shoot for the first time, it was awesome, on a Tuesday afternoon we had the whole range to ourselves most of the time we were there, and when we weren't alone all of the other shooters were great! My fiancé's favorite part was the excellent bench and table set up

Been a member 7 years. Great range, great members, great staff. Because of that there are a lot of matches so make sure to check the calendar before you go.

Place is great, all the bad reviews only come from people that live near by.

Very good range. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff and members. You can read the negative reviews if you want but in a nut shell it's people who don't like the rules or people who moved into the housing development nearby. To that I say 1. The rules are for safety and not generally different from any other range I've been to. And 2. If your going to spend that much money on a place to live maybe take a care to look into the nearby businesses before you buy. You wouldn't buy a car without checking it out first would you? Why would you buy into a neighborhood site unseen? You don't get to just move in and complain about it when it was there first. It was there before any of the other houses and buildings where there. You going to complain about the dump and rock quarry too?
