We were in town for a car race and our hosts were extremely accommodating to our needs. The room was very clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay.

My family is from this area and I’m SO glad I have this place to stay at when I need to come to visit. Clean, spacious rooms with a kitchenette complete with cookware and everything you need to clean up, too. There are some good restaurants in the area, but they’re not always open late on weekdays, so it’s nice to have the option to cook. Walking distance to the grocery store, pharmacy, tavern, post office & coffee shop. They offer ash trays if you want to smoke weed outside. Cute place with very reasonable prices for what you get. And I’ve always hated oysters but I guess those are around, too.Rooms: Spacious, clean, updated amenities, quiet, cozy!Nearby activities: Suck down some local sea boogers (oysters) and check out the World’s Largest Oyster™ next to the docks, feed the ducks at the courthouse (which looks like the friggin White House) and yell a friendly hello to my friends and former classmates inside the county jail, buy and use cannabis legally, protest Dollar General and shop only at Pioneer, and avoid Yellow Deli and their other businesses at ALL COSTS. If you have a car then visit the Kurt Cobain bridge & Star Wars museum/store in Aberdeen!Safety: Tbh you could run around town holding your wallet in the air yelling, “Somebody rob me!” and no one would bother.Walkability: The motel is located up a small hill but definitely walkable and close to the main spots in town, including the World’s Largest Oyster™ and the grocery store.Food & drinks: Oysters, basic pub food, and drinks nearby at The Chester - a community institution. Please tip the bartenders extra for dealing with me in my early 20’s. Elixir is a cute coffee shop next door with local art and goodies for sale. Pioneer Grocery is owned by the nicest family in town!

Rooms: Our room was recently renovated and super clean. No counter space in bathroom so had to put stuff on the toilet or balance on the garbage can. Rooms oddly configured but comfortable, had full kitchen! Would probably stay there again, not a lot of lodging in the area. Don’t miss the worlds largest oyster nearby! YeeHaw!

Great place to stay! Clean, comfortable, quiet. The owners were out of town, so their friends were running the place in their absence. These folks were lovely and helpful, and I really liked their dog ? We also had our two large dogs with us. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic find what a great place to stay, the rooms where unbelievable with everything you would need kitchen had everything you would need to prepare a meal store was within walking distance but most of all the service and kindness was beyond I’ve ever experience.A few good restaurants great areas for take walks and just in joy the beautiful area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful very clean motel with homey-lux-vacation vibes. Enjoy the little cafe’ off the dock with great views in morning, and dinner try to get those smoked oysters across the way
Walkability: All good food restaurants and groceries and ocean dock in walking distance

What a delightful find! This motel was clean and well appointed! My daughters kept saying, "we wish we could stay here longer." Definitely stay here if you're in the area and in need of lodging!
