Extremely disappointed and will likely not be returning.
My mother and I stayed here 2 years ago on our semiannual birthday roadtrip and had enjoyed ourselves.this year for her 75th birthday we recreated the roadtrip from Orange County. As it is a road trip we didn’t make reservations because we didn’t know exactly which day we would be arriving.
Now I would have understood if the hotel was booked and no rooms were available. We didn’t make a reservation, so that’s the chance you take. IMAGINE my surprise and irritation to find out that while rooms were available for our two night stay, they “do not allow same day reservations after 5pm”! So.. they have rooms.. but because we arrived at 6:30pm, they would not rent them to us?! Mind you.. we have stayed there prior so our information would be in their system… absolutely ridiculous and poor management. Will likely be the last time I ever try to stay there. I don’t leave reviews often, but this was just stupid and I make it a point to not support stupid.

As a wedding photographer, I've been lucky enough to explore some amazing venues, but Salish Lodge & Spa absolutely blew me away! I recently had the pleasure of photographing an intimate and adventurous wedding there, and let me just say – if you're dreaming of a romantic PNW escape, look no further!
This wedding weekend was all about the cozy vibes, with the couple and their 15 nearest and dearest celebrating in style. The ceremony and reception took place on a hidden terrace that offered jaw-dropping views of Snoqualmie Falls. I mean, who wouldn’t want to say “I do” with that stunning backdrop?! Talk about romantic!
And don’t even get me started on the cocktail hour! It was held on an open-air patio outside the couple’s suite, making it the perfect spot to sip drinks and soak in the scenic beauty. The wedding events team at Salish Lodge was also on top of their game. They were not only efficient but also so incredibly kind – which, let’s face it, is something every photographer appreciates when you’re trying to capture those special moments.
Let's get to the best part: the food. I can confidently say that the wedding cuisine at Salish Lodge was some of the best I’ve tasted all season. Seriously, I might need to crash more weddings just to get another bite!
So, if you're searching for a dreamy venue for an intimate wedding weekend that truly highlights the stunning beauty of the PNW, I highly recommend getting married at Salish Lodge. Your guests will be raving about it, your photographer will be in heaven, and you’ll have memories to treasure for a lifetime! ???

$500 a night for a view of a power plant. Waste of money.

Decided to book a solo getaway while in the PNW and I had the pleasure of staying at Salish Lodge and Spa, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I (working in hospitality myself) was impressed by the staff's attentiveness and friendliness. Their warm welcome and personalized service made me feel right at home, and their hospitality truly went above and beyond. So much so, that, upon telling my best friend who had just tied the knot, put a change in their honeymoon plans just to have a quick 2-night stay at Salish before heading on their travels!! We all agree it will be an annual trip for our friend group!
The lodge itself is immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, contributing to a relaxing and comfortable stay. The dining experience was equally outstanding—each meal was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and presented with a touch of culinary artistry.
Overall, Salish Lodge and Spa offers a perfect blend of luxurious comfort and genuine hospitality. Also would recommend for solo female travelers. I felt VERY safe and well cared for. I will certainly be back as soon as humanly possible. I would literally live here if I could. Special shout out to Sandy at the lounge and Lydia, my amazing masseuse who made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed!
Food and drinks: Food is exceptional and has an amazing variety of options for ALL dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, etc).

For years I have came to this place for a local staycation. I'd use the spa's pool and steam room before my treatments then head into dinner, it was a great experience.
When booking my last trip I discovered that an extra charge of $75 is needed to use the steam room and pool, even when spending hundreds on other spa treatments.
This isn't the case with Alderbrook lodge or other places and I'm disappointed in the Salish Lodge's decision not to be flexible on this extra fee.
Due to this I had to cancel my room, dinner, and spa reservations that would have totaled over $1,300 in spending and found a different area for my staycations.
I just hate being charged for what used to be an added value for the SPA, and dealing with customer support teams that really don't care about your past history with them.

“My first visit here, and I’m already a fan! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. Every detail, from the décor to the menu options, was thoughtfully curated. The quality of what was offered exceeded my expectations, and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive throughout my visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience. This definitely won’t be my last visit—I’m already looking forward to coming back!”

My happy husband is all I care about, but the room was very comfy and I appreciated the fresh air from the waterfall nearby that came from our balcony door. The pillows were plush and blankets were super cozy. Would love to come back and spoil myself again in this luxurious hotel! Negative ions are odorless, tasteless, and invisible molecules that are released when water collides with itself, such as in waterfalls. They can have many positive effects on the body and mind, including: mood, sleep, immune system and lung function. Google it yourself....
