The website makes it seem way more fun and exciting than it actually was. We didn't really see the waterfall due to all the trees in the way. So if you really want to see the waterfall, I recommend going to the viewpoint instead. Also, the train doesn't go very fast since it is 100 years old. We payed $84 dollars for 2 kids and 2 adults, and in my honest opinion it is NOT worth it. You are not allowed to even stand up or move around when the train is moving, even though it doesn't go faster than 10 mph. So if you have little kids who can't sit still, don't go. The 2 hour "excursion" consists of not seeing a waterfall, stopping multiple times to pick up other passengers, and stopping one time at the museum for 30 minutes. The rest of the time you have to stay seated and watch the trees and cars go by. Honestly wish I could get my money back.

This is a dream if you have a pack of little boys, which we did. There are places to eat nearby, but nothing is open on Monday. Also the best hardware store is right there as well.

This was a nice little experience! The train ride was not as long or as fun as I expected but it was a calm and easy ride. My family and I started from the snoqualmie stop and it took us to north bend and back, the total ride was about an hour and a half, but that’s because we stopped at the museum. The museum was very small but had lots of fun train facts. Good for a one time experience.

Had a lot of fun at Day Out with Thomas The Tank Engine. ???
Great event for little Fans of Thomas train. ?
Train-ride is a gem of this event.
Would have loved more time than an hour for activity area in train schedule.

Overall a good activity.
Not a large variety of trains.
Two steam locomotives in good shape, one caboose you can walk through, and one wagon you can view the interior of.
A lot of educational content and interactive exhibits.

Really nice display and a lot of posters to read about the history. I liked the walkthrough of the caboose. Amazing display of a Church railway car.
I wish there had been more walk through displays but I understand the wear and tear.
Kids play area and little store inside. Restrooms.
Nice building, nice design.
